Main photo of Brick Rouge, a large Paju brunch café

After work on a Monday, I wanted to spend some relaxed time eating good food and chatting with a friend, so we went to Brick Rouge in Paju. I've actually visited Brick Rouge many times before — it's famous enough that anyone looking for a large café in Paju has probably heard of it. This time we went for brunch, and as always, I was satisfied getting to enjoy delicious food in a spacious, pretty space.

What is the space like at Brick Rouge, a large Paju café?

Brick Rouge is a large four-story café with a variety of seating, and each floor has a slightly different mood. The first thing you notice walking in is the sheer size of the space, and it's fun to explore floor by floor.

What I liked is that Brick Rouge isn't just a big café packed with tables — each space feels decorated with its own concept. The props and lighting scattered throughout are pretty, and there are plenty of spots worth photographing. There's also a terrace, which is great for enjoying the outdoors on a nice day.

According to the café's own information, Brick Rouge operates across 4 floors, with different concepts by floor and zone. It's also known for its terrace and photo zones, which make it easy to capture nice photos. That makes it a great place to chat with a friend or go on a date.

What's on the brunch menu and set combos at Brick Rouge?

Brick Rouge brunch meal menu information

Brick Rouge offers a variety of meals beyond a single brunch item — pasta, pizza, risotto, even steak. I think this variety of meal options is a big reason it's so well known as a Paju brunch café.

Brick Rouge brunch, pasta, pizza and other meal menu items

There are several standalone brunch dishes, plus proper meals like pasta, pizza, risotto, and steak. But what I liked most was the set menu.

  • Brick Rouge Big Brunch
  • Meat Big Brunch
  • French Toast Brunch
  • Smoked Salmon Benedict

and more are available. Ordering a set gives you a ₩4,000 discount compared to ordering items separately, and the set includes up to 2 drinks — great for two people visiting together.

What I especially liked is that brunch items can be ordered from 9am to 7pm, so you can enjoy brunch not just in the morning or at lunch but even in the late afternoon. We ordered the Meat Big Brunch that day. According to the currently published menu info, the Meat Big Brunch is also available to order until 7pm, and it's a hearty plate that comes with chicken thigh, pork neck, sausage, shrimp, fries, and salad.

How was the portion and taste of the Meat Big Brunch?

Brick Rouge's Meat Big Brunch arrives piled high on a huge plate, generous from the very first look. After a short wait, our brunch came out — what I got included grilled pork belly, grilled chicken, eggs, sausage, and salad. It was nice being able to taste several different things on one plate, and each item was delicious on its own.

Since it includes meat, it felt much more filling than a typical brunch! Sharing bites back and forth with my friend meant we got to enjoy a variety of flavors from just one dish.

Brick Rouge's Big Brunch, hearty enough for a full meal

When you think of brunch, you might picture something light like coffee and bread, but Brick Rouge's Big Brunch is hearty enough to count as a proper meal, so it's totally fine to visit specifically to eat a real meal.

How was the onion bagel at the Brick Rouge bakery?

Brick Rouge is also a Paju bakery café that bakes fresh bread every morning, so after brunch your eyes naturally drift toward the bakery counter. There's a wide variety of bread, so it's fun just to browse, and it's the kind of place where you go for brunch but end up picking up a loaf too.

There's also a solid selection of slice cakes, so you can pick according to your taste.

The onion bagel picked at Brick Rouge

What we picked was the onion bagel! And honestly, this thing is huge. It's even bigger in person than in photos, and it catches your eye right away.

When we cut it open, it was really packed with cream cheese inside. The subtle savory flavor of the onion, the chewy bagel, and the soft, generous cream cheese all came together really well. I love bread to begin with, and even after already eating brunch that day, I kept reaching for more of this onion bagel. It goes great with coffee, and it's also a good one to share with a friend.

Brick Rouge drinks and dessert menu

Brick Rouge also has a wide range of drinks, desserts, and even bingsu (shaved ice), so you can handle your meal and café time all in one place.

How's the interior and photo zones at Brick Rouge — is it okay to bring kids?

Proper healing at Brick Rouge with a friend after work on a Monday

Table with a friend after work at Brick Rouge

Since it was a day I met a friend after work on a Monday, the goal was really just to eat something good and talk comfortably. Eating the Meat Big Brunch and the onion bagel at Brick Rouge, and talking for a long time in such a pretty space, made the Monday tiredness feel like it melted away a little.

Good food and a good atmosphere really are the best combination. A place where you get caught up in both the mood and the flavor — I think that's exactly why I keep coming back.

A relaxed evening spent at Brick Rouge

It's a great spot for gatherings with friends, for a relaxed brunch on a date, or for a family visit where you can enjoy a meal and the bakery together. Above all, having such a wide range of brunch options to choose from, plus bakery and drinks all in one place, made things really convenient.

If you're looking for a large café in Paju where you can enjoy brunch, bakery, and pretty spaces all at once, Brick Rouge is worth remembering. Since I tried the Meat Big Brunch this time, I'll have to try another brunch menu next time. It's a place I'd want to revisit on days I want a good brunch and relaxed conversation with a friend in Paju, or when I'm looking for a nice-atmosphere café for a date.
