Pizza E Michida (피자에미치다) Konkuk University Branch is a pizza and beer place 230 m from Exit 1 of Konkuk University Station, open Tuesday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. the next day. It was a holiday, so I played one bowling game with friends for a bet, and then we suddenly wanted pizza and a cold draft beer. We dashed over to Pizza E Michida, famous for its pizza. It was named one of Naver's 10 best pizza restaurants in Seoul for 2025, so no reason not to go!

We rushed over right at the 4 p.m. opening and I wondered if we were too early, but the door was already wide open and customers who had arrived before us were already having their drinks.

Pizza E Michida's atmosphere and outdoor terrace

The interior has an exotic, European feel, and I was surprised the moment I walked in! (This place is so nice~) It felt like an Italian pizzeria, and it was much cleaner than I expected, with smart little props that gave it a stylish mood. Totally my taste.

It seemed great for a chat over pizza and beer with friends, and also for a casual evening date in Konkuk.

Best of all, there is an open terrace in front of the shop and an outdoor drinking area (yajang) on the left. With the cool autumn breeze these days, it would feel like a little pub in the middle of the city.

Free nachos and 1,900-won frosty draft beer

Once you sit down, the staff bring complimentary nachos with two sauces and pickles. The nachos vanished the moment they arrived! Extra portions are ₩500, and they were so good we ordered 2 more.

With such tasty starter snacks, we couldn't not order beer. A glass of frosty draft for ₩1,900! Crazy value! It was refreshing enough to clear you out, and the price is so good that a few more glasses wouldn't be a burden at all.

They also gave us disposable gloves for eating the pizza. There is no paper menu; you order easily with the QR code on the table.

Free ricotta cheese salad for a receipt review

We joined the review receipt event and got a ricotta cheese salad as a freebie. We were about to order a salad anyway, so getting it free was so nice. The vegetables were fresh and the ricotta flavor was rich, so we kept reaching for it. They must use good-quality cheese!

How do the half combination, half cheddar cheese pizzas taste?

There are many kinds of pizza here, so if you're indecisive like me, I recommend a half-half pizza! They even lit solid fuel under the pizza tray so it stays warm. (I love details like this 🤭😍)

The dough is on the thin side, topped generously: a combination pizza and a cheddar cheese pizza! The combination had a rich blend of toppings and a pleasantly varied chew. Everyone went "mmm~" with the first bite, haha.

The cheese pizza filled the mouth with a deep, nutty cheese flavor, so delicious! Baked in a wood-fired oven, it was chewy inside and crisp outside, perfect with beer. After trying it myself, I understood why everyone says Pizza E Michida's pizza is amazing.

Pizza's partner is chicken! The crispy chicken in the pizza & chicken set came in bite-sized pieces, crunchy outside and juicy inside, and boneless, so it was even easier to eat.

Crispy and moist! There was no gamey smell, so it was good plain, and also good dipped in the sauce in the middle. The golden fries, crisp outside and fluffy inside, were a great match to alternate with the chicken.

Creamy truffle Toowoomba pasta with garlic bread

Every dish at Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch is generous and very reasonably priced, so just picking what we wanted filled the whole table and made me so happy to look at! The truffle Toowoomba pasta (₩16,900), with plenty of creamy sauce, was a must-order the moment I saw the menu! (We added garlic bread too~)

The pasta had a thick, smooth cream sauce with the subtle fragrance of truffle, which gave it a more luxurious flavor. The rich, nutty sauce coated the noodles evenly, so every bite brought a happy smile.

The shrimp were plump and fresh, and putting them on the garlic bread made the taste even more varied and rich.

Last, a dish that really captures Korean tastes: the whole bacon cheese kimchi fried rice (₩12,900)! A fried egg sits on appetizingly stir-fried kimchi rice, and mozzarella is wrapped all around it. I was already hooked on the cheese stretching with every bite! Taking a spoonful of fried rice between pizza and pasta made it a hearty meal again today.
