In short

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch (부엌간 해운대점) is a Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan, with parking in a basement lot and beside the building. A couple celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary booked a weekday 4:30 pm table at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch and ordered the steak set, upgrading the steak to 400g and adding a cream pasta you mix with egg. The medium-rare steak and the window sofa seats made Bueokgan Haeundae Branch a satisfying anniversary date spot.

Why Bueokgan Haeundae Branch for a 7th anniversary date on Dalmaji-gil?

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch (부엌간 해운대점) is a Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae. I booked it for our date on the day of my husband's and my 7th anniversary. I left work a little early and planned the date, and this time I chose all the stops on the course myself. And wow, I really came up with an amazing course~ ^^

I found it while searching for good restaurants, loved the atmosphere, booked, and went! Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is such a great place for a date that I honestly want to recommend it to anyone planning a Haeundae date course~ Let me start my honest review :)

I chose Bueokgan Haeundae Branch because, out of all my candidates, parking was easiest here! Parking is the big issue in Haeundae and Gwangalli, but this place has spaces both underground and above ground, so it seemed easy to visit~ We booked a weekday 4:30 pm table, and luckily nobody else was around, so parking was really easy :)

The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building. The 1st floor has a café and a Chinese restaurant! As for parking, there's a small space beside the building and more underneath it. It may be a bit tight, so keep that in mind in advance~

What are the seats and atmosphere like at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch?

If you book ahead, your seat is already set up, like the window sofa seats. When we walked in, it was early evening and we were the only ones there~ so I could wander around and take photos freely. We were guided to our reserved seat, which was a comfy sofa seat! There was a window straight ahead, so it was a lovely spot for a atmospheric meal while looking outside. Thank you for giving us such a good seat!

The reserved tables were already set~ It looked like quite a lot of guests had booked for the evening! The area by the kitchen had a different mood, and that was nice too ^^~ Honestly, the atmosphere is good wherever you sit, so it would be great for couples :)

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch also sells wine, but we don't drink, so we passed~ I really loved the atmospheric, tidy interior!

How to order the steak set at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch

Every table has a tablet, and you order with it. We ordered the steak set, and since my husband is a meat lover, we upgraded the steak to 400g! The menu is quite varied, so choosing took us a long time. Ordering a set is definitely cheaper than ordering à la carte~

Drinks: orange juice and grapefruit juice

With the steak set, the drinks came out first. My husband chose orange juice and I chose grapefruit juice. The colors are so pretty, right? ^^ Almost too pretty to drink! If you don't like sour flavors, I recommend the orange juice~ it was rich :)

Starters: sweet pumpkin soup and salad

Next, the salad and pumpkin soup were set out. They were light and perfect as appetizers. The colors are crazy, right? In person they're even prettier! The pumpkin soup is bright yellow~ and the salad is packed with colorful, fresh-looking vegetables!

They gave us a separate spoon for serving the pumpkin soup and a small bowl to scoop it into, and the bowl was so teeny and cute haha. The pumpkin soup is seriously sweet and smooth... sooo good ^^~

The salad and pumpkin soup go so well together that I almost finished everything before the main dishes arrived haha. I had to eat slowly and remember to take photos, which was hard work haha. The salad vegetables were really fresh with a great crunch, and the sauce wasn't too strong, which made it even better!

Is the egg cream pasta too rich if you dislike heavy food?

The cream pasta at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch turns moist and mild when you mix in the egg, so even people who find cream pasta too rich can eat it without trouble. While we were still eating, the pasta came out right away~ I was torn between oil pasta and cream pasta, but cream pasta seemed easier for my husband to share, so I went with it, and I think it was a great choice!

This.... was really moist and thick and sooo good! Honestly, I usually only eat oil pasta, because cream pasta is too heavy for me to eat much of, okay? But I ate this well, and here's why~ it's all thanks to the egg!! I even filmed it on purpose~ mixing in the egg made it really moist and mild, so people like me who can't eat much cream pasta because it's heavy can easily enjoy it!

The 400g steak at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch: doneness and portion size

The standard steak is 200g, but we upgraded to 400g for my husband, and it came out moist at medium-rare. The grand finale, the steak!!! For two people to share, this much seemed necessary~ Honestly I don't eat much meat, so I had about 50g and the rest went into my husband's belly haha.

Perfect medium-rare!! Really moist and not tough at aaall. Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is totally a steak hotspot~~ My husband said it was delicious and ate so well...!! Thanks to that, I think we spent our 7th anniversary well~
