Face cleansing balm for oily-dehydrated skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moisturizing Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a face cleansing balm the writer tested on sensitive skin that is dehydrated and oily at the same time. The firm balm texture and the built-in spoon made it easy to use, and the balm was applied with dry hands before any water. After removing heavy makeup, HEEDA's cleansing balm left skin feeling fresh rather than slippery.

How did the cleansing balm feel on dehydrated, oily skin?

I have sensitive, combination skin — dehydrated deep down but still leaving oil on the surface — so how the cleansing step felt really mattered to me. This product was an almost-solid balm, and when I rolled it onto my skin it felt softer than oil, more like a cream.

What makes HEEDA's balm and built-in spoon easy to use?

A spoon is built into the case, so I could scoop it out without using my hands. There's also a protective cap, which helped reduce contamination during storage. That said, the texture softens and turns white as soon as water touches it, so it was better to scoop it out with dry hands at first.

How does skin feel after removing heavy makeup?

For me, it didn't leave the slippery feeling I usually get after a cleansing oil or cleansing water — it finished fresh and soft instead. Even heavy, thick makeup came off cleanly, as far as I could tell.

Is the HEEDA cleansing balm easy to travel with?

I liked the firm balm texture and the case design. Instead of packing several different cleansing products for travel or going out, I thought this one product alone could be an option.
