Baegot pasta date: abalone innards cream pasta at Two Find Peter

A Baegot pasta favorite and a restaurant with a great atmosphere: this is Two Find Peter Baegot Branch (투파인드피터 배곧점).

We went on a weekend date in Baegot, and this pasta place was our stop. The atmosphere is so good that it works well for dates or blind dates. Let me start my review of the pasta, gnocchi and pizza we tried!

Where is Two Find Peter Baegot Branch, and what about parking?

Two Find Peter Baegot Branch is on the 2nd floor of the Avenue France Central Green building. It is open daily 11:00–22:00 (last order 21:00). There is a break time of 15:00–17:00 on weekdays, but no break time on weekends!

Enter through Geurin-dong GATE A and take the escalator up, and you'll find it quickly! Once you reach the 2nd floor, the signs are clear, so it's easy to find. Even first-timers shouldn't have trouble getting there.

The complex is big, and you can park in any of its lots: Green, Purple, Blue, Yellow and Red (the public parking lot is not allowed). If you park in another zone, you have to go out to the 1st floor and walk over. If you want to park close by, I recommend the Geurin-dong lot!

What is the atmosphere like at Two Find Peter Baegot Branch, and is it good for dates?

The interior is stylish and neat overall. Each seat has accent lighting, which makes it feel even more atmospheric.

There are lots of tables and also private rooms, so it's great for a private meal. The mood suits a date or blind date, and with group seating it looked fine for family gatherings and other get-togethers too. High chairs are available as well, so it's a good place to come with kids!

The menu is really varied, from set menus to salads, gnocchi, pasta, risotto, pilaf, steak and pizza. You order on the tablet at the table, so it's easy to browse the menu and order at your own pace.

Starter bread and pickles

After you order, they bring out starter bread and pickles first. The bread comes warm, so it's nice for a light bite before the food arrives.

I dipped the soft, plain bread in balsamic sauce. The tangy flavor really whets the appetite before a meal!

Abalone innards cream pasta: the wasabi cream sauce is the kicker

The abalone innards cream pasta came out first, and the mushroom cream gnocchi followed soon after. I had originally planned to order pasta and risotto, but the moment I saw gnocchi on the menu, I changed my mind. I usually love gnocchi, so I ordered it without a second thought!

This is the abalone innards cream pasta (₩19,000), one of Two Find Peter's signature dishes! I didn't notice at first, but there's a generous amount of noodles, so it got really filling as I ate.

The rich, deep taste of abalone innards blends well with the smooth cream. You taste the strong abalone innards right from the first bite, but it isn't fishy, just creamy. It's thick and rich yet smooth! Now I get why people call it a Baegot pasta favorite.

The abalone innards cream pasta also comes with wasabi cream sauce. Eat a bit with it now and then, and the sharp wasabi kick cuts the richness. Even a cream pasta that can feel heavy stays delicious all the way through. This wasabi cream sauce was the kicker!

I think there's finely chopped abalone in the pasta sauce. Maybe that's why the sauce itself is so rich and tasty. By the end, even after the noodles were gone, I hated to waste the sauce and found myself scraping the plate clean..!

Mushroom cream gnocchi: how big is it, and how does it taste?

The mushroom cream gnocchi (₩17,000) was extra exciting since it had been a while since I'd had gnocchi. It looked so pretty the moment it arrived that it caught my eye right away. I liked that it's not just a place with atmosphere; the food looks appetizing too.

The size of the gnocchi is something else! Each piece is big enough to fill a spoon. They're larger than the gnocchi you'd usually picture, so every bite feels full, and I loved that.

The gnocchi is soft and nutty overall. The cream sauce is rich, and a faint truffle aroma is added on top, so it's delicious. The truffle isn't overpowering, so it's easy to eat and blends well with the cream sauce. A satisfying gnocchi.

Chicken potato pizza, plus taking the leftovers home

This is the chicken potato pizza (₩22,000) my husband picked! You can tell at a glance that it's loaded with toppings.

The dough had a nice chew, and the crispy-baked potato topping was impressive too. It's salty overall, and with cheddar cheese sauce drizzled on top, the nutty cheese flavor came through richly. I think kids would like this taste too!

The portions are generous overall, so a few slices of pizza were left. When I told the staff, they packed it up neatly, so we could carry it home easily!
