Being so close to the station made it perfect to stop by after work.

There's a sign on the building at Unit 201 on the 2nd floor, so it wasn't hard to find. It says sugaring and lash specialty right on it. Since it's a one-person shop, I liked that there was no wait — just one-on-one service the whole time.

Inside On The Boutique: a private one-person treatment room

The first thing that caught my eye walking into On The Boutique was this display case. Lash lift competition trophies and certificates were lined up side by side. The eye area is such a sensitive spot, so I was a bit nervous, but seeing this instantly built trust.

Bags and outerwear get stored separately in this closet. On days when I'm carrying a lot, not having anywhere to put things down is annoying, so I really appreciated this touch. Not having to worry about my belongings while lying down for the treatment made everything more comfortable.

The treatment space is a private room separated by curtains. It's kept clean and simple in white tones with no clutter. I could really feel that hygiene was managed carefully.

Next to the bed was a big cat plush toy. Holding onto it during the treatment helped me feel less tense. I was comfortable the whole time I was lying down.

Here's how my lashes looked before the treatment. They had length, but they poured straight downward from the root, making my eyes look tired and heavy. From pressing so hard with self-perms and eyelash curlers, the tips were even bent.
