Two-month upkeep Brazilian wax at a Gangnam waxing salon: Super Waxing

Today I went for my regular Brazilian wax at Super Waxing Gangnam, the salon I've been coming back to near Gangnam Station!

Where is Super Waxing Gangnam, and what are its hours?

Super Waxing Gangnam is on the 3rd floor of a building at 32 Teheran-ro 1-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and it's open every day from 10am to 9:30pm. They have a reservation system and a waiting area set up.

I parked at a nearby lot and headed up to the 3rd floor. On the way up, the yellow Super Waxing sign was really easy to spot, so it was easy to find.

Super Waxing Gangnam's interior was compact but had such a lovely, cozy charm, and having a shower room and bathroom right inside was really convenient. On top of that, the sunlight pouring through the big glass windows on the 3rd floor was so warm, and the view of the Gangnam Station street from up there was really pretty.

Super Waxing Gangnam is run by someone who completed the Heoju Lycon Waxing Master course back in 1978, and the salon also runs its own academy for training and treatments. It felt like a place I could trust completely — this Gangnam Station waxing salon, Super Waxing Gangnam.

Two treatment rooms for friends or couples at the same time

Since I'd booked ahead through Naver, I was seen quickly, and because the treatment space is split into two separate rooms, friends or couples can get waxed at the same time — such a nice touch.

I couldn't resist the big mirror by the entrance and snapped a mirror selfie — the sunlight was so good that the photo came out great haha. The two staff members on duty at Super Waxing Gangnam welcomed me so warmly and kindly that it put me in a great mood for the whole day. I didn't know people could be this friendly — Super Waxing Gangnam near Gangnam Station really left a great impression.

Consultation, shower and prep before the Brazilian wax

Since I was there for my regular Brazilian waxing maintenance, the consultation was quick and I was shown straight into the treatment room. The room itself was small and cute but so clean and comfortable, with a tidiness that stood out right away — that's Super Waxing Gangnam for you!

I quickly hopped into the shower room, rinsed off, and came back out ready for the Brazilian waxing to begin.

How the two-month Brazilian wax went in 10–20 minutes

Super Waxing Gangnam has waxers with over 10 years of experience on staff, known for careful, meticulous treatments. They're famous for using Lycon Pinky wax, an upgrade from the high-end Lycon brand's basic line, which means much less irritation during the treatment.

Since it had been about two months since my last session, they got started quickly and efficiently, and the low-irritation, low-pain treatment was so gentle that even a beginner could handle it easily — honestly I was thinking 'wait, was that it??' because I barely felt any pain at all, personally. Super satisfying!

Especially since the staff have over 10 years of experience, the whole Brazilian waxing treatment only took about 10–20 minutes, which was perfect for a day like today when I didn't have much time — Super Waxing Gangnam near Gangnam Station really came through!!

Ingrown hair care and aftercare after a Brazilian wax

They also took extra care with the ingrown hair areas, treating them systematically and carefully, which was so satisfying, and they gave me detailed aftercare instructions for how to take care of the area after the treatment — really helpful!
