Mango cheese bingsu at a Jamsilsaenae dessert café: Young Coffee

Hi, I'm Pink Bonbon, a mom who loves touring good restaurants. Out of all the dessert cafés in Jamsilsaenae, I headed to Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium, known for being great value, to enjoy some fruit bingsu (shaved ice dessert).

There was room for about one car to park in front of Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium, so parking wasn't a problem. I met a friend on my way out from running errands at Lotte Jamsil, and while looking for a café, nowhere beat Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium for value and menu variety, so that's where we went!!

The exterior had a cool, breezy feel with its blue color scheme, and the window seats with outdoor tables were so pretty. The clean, pleasant look both inside and out was quite stylish, and since it's a well-known Jamsil bingsu spot among locals, I walked in with high expectations. The interior was spacious with plenty of room between tables, so it seemed like a popular spot for groups too — Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium is clearly beloved as a budget-friendly café by both locals and nearby office workers.

Maybe because Young Coffee is so well known around the neighborhood as a Jamsil bingsu spot, even though we visited in the late afternoon, the place was packed with customers of all ages. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, and at the entrance there were photos of the menu items lined up, so you could see the delicious desserts before even walking in — I loved that!

How many bingsu flavors does Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium have?

Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium had so many dessert options across drinks, desserts, and bingsu that I honestly lost count, and since I was really craving bingsu, we started off by ordering a fruit bingsu and a dessert!!

• Mozza bungeoppang (mozzarella-filled fish-shaped pastry)

After my friend and I put in our order, we took another look around the bingsu menu — it was truly a mountain of delicious fruit bingsu. Just the fact that you can enjoy a cool, sweet, generous portion of fruit bingsu for around ₩10,000 on a hot summer day made me so happy. Injeolmi (rice cake) bingsu, strawberry bingsu, honeycomb glutinous rice bingsu, cream bingsu, mango bingsu, tomato bingsu, brown rice red bean bingsu — it felt like every kind of bingsu had gathered in one place, and it took a while just to scan the menu with my eyes!!

What the mango cheese bingsu and mozza bungeoppang taste like

The mango cheese bingsu and the mozzarella-filled bungeoppang we ordered at this Jamsil bingsu spot came out looking delicious together, and the bungeoppang was truly crispy outside and soft inside — the layered, crispy crust was seriously good.

The mango cheese bingsu was a milk bingsu topped with a generous helping of mango ice cream, with finely shaved ice that was clean-tasting yet nutty in flavor. There was so much mango piled on top that two adults could easily eat it all and still have some left over for just over ₩10,000 — we absolutely devoured it!!

With mango syrup drizzled on top too, the mango cheese bingsu was so good to eat — sweet yet clean-tasting, with finely shaved 🍨 milk bingsu that tasted amazing even on its own. That's the mango cheese bingsu at Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium for you~~

A Jamsil bingsu café that's easy on the budget and good with kids

Today I feel like I truly found a great Jamsil bingsu spot — next time I'll have to bring my elementary-school-aged daughter along to try a different flavor. I'd recommend Young Coffee Jamsil Trizium as a great Jamsil bingsu spot to visit together with the kids~~
