These days it's often either raining or so hot that spending a long time outside on a date feels like a lot, right? So this weekend I went looking for somewhere really cool and comfortable to hang out indoors in Jamsil!

That place is One Play Jamsil Branch, a huge multi-cultural space that's rising fast near Jamsilsaenae Station! It goes way beyond your typical comic café or board game café — it's fully equipped with food, entertainment, and even a healing space, so I really wanted to introduce it to you all. 🥰

One Play Jamsil Branch: location and hours

  • Address: 20 Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea, 2nd & 3rd floors
  • Hours: Daily 10:00 – 24:00 (open generously until midnight!)
Entrance of the One Play Jamsil Branch building

Come out of Exit 4 of Jamsilsaenae Station and walk straight toward Baekjegobun-ro 7-gil, and you'll find it quickly! There's also the Jamsil-dong food alley right nearby, so the accessibility is amazing whether you eat something delicious first or come here to play and go restaurant-hopping afterward 👍

They use both the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, so I could feel just how massive the scale was! The moment I stepped in, the open, spacious feel — completely different from the stuffy, cramped comic cafés I've been to before — really stood out.

Interior inspired by silkworms and butterflies

It turns out the name Jamsil (蠶室) comes from the place where the royal court raised silkworms during the Joseon Dynasty! One Play Jamsil Branch drew on this historical meaning as a motif, reinterpreting silk, butterflies, and natural elements in a modern sensibility for their interior 🌿✨

Looking up at the ceiling, softly shimmering butterfly lights hang like spotlights — the atmosphere was so pretty I couldn't help but pick up my camera! 📸

What are the pricing packages?

Let's take a look at the price board, shall we? On weekdays it seems you can play unlimited for ₩10,000. On weekends only package rates are available, so keep that in mind! Since we were only staying for 2 hours, we picked the Sonagi (shower) rate package haha

The drink included in the package

They include a drink with the package here too, which is a huge plus! We went with the basic iced Americano and a grapefruit honey black tea (with an extra charge to change).

Arcade machines, an OTT room, and board games too

They even have arcade-style game machines, which was such a nice touch. Tekken, anyone? Hahahaha

There's also a dedicated room for watching Netflix, Disney+, and other OTT content, plus hundreds of popular board games perfectly set up for friends or couples to enjoy!

A round of Demon Slayer on PlayStation

Today we're just going to stick to PlayStation, okay? Hahahaha

Seating area for playing PlayStation games

We played the Demon Slayer fighting game, and the picture quality was so good and the sound so punchy that we lost track of time battling it out. 🎮🔥

The food menu is legit too

When you go to a multi-cultural space like this, you don't usually expect much from the food, right? But at One Play Jamsil Branch, the moment I looked at the menu I thought, wait, they're actually serious about food here? Not just simple snacks — proper meal items, bunsik (Korean snack food), hot food, and even handmade desserts were all properly available! I got hungry in the middle of it all and had a nibble hehehe

Highly recommend One Play Jamsil Branch for an indoor board game date in Jamsil! It's the ultimate multi-cultural space where you can take care of both entertainment and food in one place.
