Bucheon hair salon for wedding down perm: Ieum Men's Hair
In short
Ieum Men's Hair Bucheon City Hall Station Branch is a men's hair salon about a five-minute walk from Bucheon City Hall Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. Before my wedding, I had a cut and a down perm on the sides and back; the result kept enough length while tidying hair that tended to stick up.

Why was a down perm important before my wedding cut?
With less than two weeks until my wedding, I went to get my hair tidied up. It had grown quite long, and my previous perm was wearing out. I wanted a neat cut before the wedding styling and honeymoon.
The down perm was what I cared about most. Because the hair on my sides and back is straight, it tends to stick up as soon as it is cut a little short. This time, I visited Ieum Men's Hair Bucheon City Hall Station Branch (이움 맨즈헤어 부천시청역점) to tidy the length while smoothing those areas down.
How far is it from Bucheon City Hall Station, and is parking available?
The address is 301, 30 Seokcheon-ro 169beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. At the time of the original post, the listed hours were 10:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

It was about a five-minute walk from Bucheon City Hall Station. It is in the center of a commercial area, making it a convenient location to stop by before or after plans, and parking registration was available.

At the time of my visit, an opening event offered 30% off services by designers and head stylists, and 20% off services by the director, for first-time customers.

What are the waiting area and service seats like?
As it had newly opened, the interior was clean and comfortable. I liked the decor too, and it made a relaxed first impression.

The waiting area had comfortable places to sit and rest. Mentos and water were available while I waited.

The service seats were separated by partitions along a central corridor. I liked the sense of privacy; it felt a little like being in a personal hair room.

The shampoo area also had a warm atmosphere.

How did the consultation and down perm go?
Before the service, I filled out a short questionnaire. It was designed to understand my preferred style and customer tendencies in advance and reflect them in the service. I sometimes find it a little overwhelming to keep a conversation going whenever I am asked questions at a salon, so I appreciated this process.

I booked with a head stylist and received a down perm and customized styling cut. We first discussed the length and style I wanted, as well as how I usually style my hair, before moving on to the cut. My scalp was protected before the down perm, and the sides and back were treated carefully.

I was also given a drink and snacks during the down perm.

How was my hair that used to stick up tidied after the service?
After the cut and down perm, my hair looked neatly tidied. Having the grown-out hair trimmed before the wedding made me feel much more at ease.

The length at the back was adjusted to suit the fringe and sides. I liked that it was not cut too short and that the down perm was done to match the length. Afterward, I was also shown how to dry and shampoo my hair.

Previously, my fringe would stick up and be difficult to style, but after the cut, finishing with essence left it looking neatly in place. I was able to achieve the tidy look I wanted before my wedding.
