Wondang bakery café with garden view: Haagen-Dazs affogato, Baedagol
In short
Baedagol Bakery House (배다골베이커리하우스) is a garden bakery café in Wondang, Deogyang-gu, Goyang, and the third themed café from Baedagol, whose cafés are built around herbs, gardens, dogs and mountains. The writer and his wife sat at a first-floor window seat overlooking the garden with a fresh mango yogurt smoothie, a Haagen-Dazs affogato, multigrain ang-butter bread (red bean paste and butter) and salt bread, and were happy with both the mango drink and the bread. For a flower-filled garden view with reasonably priced bread, Baedagol Bakery House is a good choice.

I visited Baedagol Bakery House (배다골베이커리하우스), which I recommend to anyone looking for a Goyang, Ilsan or Wondang café with both a great view and great bread!

Where is Baedagol Bakery House and where do you park?
Baedagol Bakery House is a bakery café with a gorgeous garden at 123 Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil, Deogyang-gu, Goyang. It's so famous for being delicious and beautiful that the parking lot is split into 3 zones!

After parking and heading to the entrance, I found a lovely flower-covered gate. The garden is packed with flowers and trees, and the atmosphere is really, really nice.

Can you eat bread and drinks in the garden at Baedagol?
There are tables set up in the garden in front of the building too. You can carry your bread and drinks outside and enjoy them right in the garden! ^^

It was my first visit, and I learned this is Baedagol's third story, a themed café built around herbs, gardens, dogs and mountains! The first and second concepts must be pretty great too ^^
It's also a dog-friendly café, so people heading out with their pups and kitties can visit comfortably.
Mango season at Baedagol Bakery House right now
It's a bumper season for mango at Baedagol Bakery House! ^^ A fresh, sweet mango festival!! Enjoy mango in all kinds of ways: lattes, ades, smoothies, even snow-flake shaved ice (bingsu).

Opening hours and the 50% bread discount time
Baedagol Bakery House is open from 10 AM to 9 PM, and if you visit after 7 PM you can get bakery items at 50% off! Keep it in mind for a cheap, tasty bread stop on your way home from work.

Bread selection and how to order at Baedagol Bakery House
True to a bakery café, there's tons of delicious bread! The showcase held all kinds of loaves and pastries.

Boxes of mangoes sat at the entrance, and there were some chilling in the fridge too! Baedagol Bakery House lets you enjoy delicious mango to your heart's content!

You order here! Pick the bread you want, then order drinks and pay at the counter.

Coffee, tea, non-coffee drinks, handmade teas, smoothies and ades, even bingsu! I liked how varied the menu was ^^ I ordered the fresh mango yogurt smoothie and the Haagen-Dazs affogato!!

The bread had plenty of variety too! Lots of appetizing, healthy-looking breads, so it's easy to enjoy without worrying.

There were so many kinds that I stood there for a long time wondering what to get! ^^
The tiramisu looks so tempting too, right!?^^ I didn't get to try it this time... so next visit I definitely want to eat the tiramisu^^

This is a dessert piled with fresh fruit. I hadn't easily seen it elsewhere, so cream cheese lovers, give it a try ^^

There's a good range of pretzel sandwiches and scones too! And there's salt bread (a buttery roll with a salted crust) that goes well with an Americano. The prices aren't outrageous, so it was easy to enjoy without worry ^^
Interior and the self-service corner
The interior at Baedagol Bakery House is lovely too~ A cozy, comfortable mood!
There's a self-service corner with plates, forks and knives, plus water and syrup. If you have bread left over and need to take it home, you can use the plastic bags set out at the self-service corner.

The seats inside were full of customers~ ^^ After the parking lot, it was another moment where I felt how popular Baedagol Bakery House is!
Best garden view: first-floor window seats over the second floor
Baedagol Bakery House has tables on the second floor too~ But when I went up, I couldn't really see the garden^^ so I came back down to the first floor.
This is the garden view from the first-floor window seat. Stylish, right~!??^^ Bread and drinks while looking out at a lush garden full of colorful flowers in bloom!
How were the ang-butter bread, salt bread, mango smoothie and Haagen-Dazs affogato?
The bread was multigrain ang-butter (red bean paste and butter) and salt bread~ The ang-butter is nuttier and tastier thanks to the grains, and the salt bread sticks to the basics! Both are so, so delicious ^^

After a short wait, the drink and the affogato came out! Wow~ doesn't it look amazing!? ^^

The fresh mango yogurt smoothie in particular looked incredible!! ^^ Half a mango sits on top whole, so it looks absolutely scrumptious! haha
The affogato had a generous amount of ice cream too, so my wife was totally happy ^^
The yogurt smoothie looks tempting even on a second look. I love mango so much that I drink mango drinks wherever I go... and the mango at Baedagol Bakery House is a success too!! With a real fresh mango sitting on top whole, the portion feels even more generous~^^
An affogato made even better with Haagen-Dazs ice cream!

I cut the bread into bite-size pieces~ It looks even tastier sliced ^^

The salt bread is crisp and crunchy outside and soft inside ^^ Even without an Americano, it's so, so good on its own~

The multigrain ang-butter was even nuttier than a regular ang-butter, thanks to the grain bread!

Pour the espresso over the affogato, whoosh~ then scoop it up with the ice cream and it's really good! The bitter espresso meets the ice cream and turns smooth, a magical affogato! ^^
The fresh mango yogurt smoothie is really, really cold and sweet! ^^ You can add the fresh mango in, but I ate the mango on top first, then mixed the mango jam at the bottom of the glass into the yogurt smoothie and drank it~ haha

Packing leftover bread to take home yourself
At Baedagol Bakery House you can pack leftover bread yourself in the bags at the self-service corner. I'd had a big lunch before visiting..^^ so I couldn't even finish 2 pieces of bread~ and packed them myself in a bag like this^^ You don't have to ask staff to wrap it, and you can pack it however you like, which was really convenient!
