Dog-friendly café at Songdo outlet: hojicha Gato & Dwaeji Bar, Wunder

I went to Hyundai Outlet Songdo with my dog Jadu to look around "Songhyeona" (the outlet's nickname), and had a blast at Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, where the coffee and ice cream are seriously good!

Weekday evening at Hyundai Outlet Songdo with a dog: what about parking?

I visited Hyundai Outlet Songdo with Jadu on a weekday evening. Even after dark the lights are bright, so there were lots of people and it looked so pretty, haha.

The outlet has well-equipped parking both above and below ground, so parking was easy. On weekdays especially, parking is free, which makes it really stress-free.

For reference, on weekends and holidays it's ₩1,000 per 10 minutes, and you get 3 hours free with a purchase of ₩10,000 or more at the outlet, or 5 hours free with ₩100,000 or more.

Where Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo is and the rules for dogs

Wunder Coffee Bar is in the B1 Food Square of Hyundai Outlet Songdo. After parking, I headed down to the B1 Food Square where it is.

When you're with a dog at the outlet, a leash, carrier or dog stroller is required. In the Food Square, where the restaurants are, you must bring a travel bag or carrier to keep fur from flying around!

Wunder Coffee Bar is right at the entrance of the B1 Food Square, so it's easy to find. The staff greeted us warmly and kindly, which put me in a great mood, haha.

There's a solid drink lineup including Americano, strawberry latte and ades, and the beans' rich flavor really comes through. Highly recommended for coffee lovers!

The signature Wunder Gato is an ice cream coffee in the affogato style, and you can pick the ice cream flavor to your taste: hojicha (roasted green tea), vanilla, or a hojicha & vanilla mix.

I ordered the hojicha Wunder Gato and a Dwaeji Bar ice cream. They let you know with a buzzer after you order, so picking up was convenient.

Takeout only: where to eat with a dog?

Wunder Coffee Bar is takeout only, so the setup works well for taking your order to the Songhyeona pet terrace or an outdoor seat. A few people were eating with their dogs at the B1 Food Square seats too, but I went up to the 1st floor just in case, haha.

To eat in peace with Jadu, I'd have liked the B1 pet terrace, where you can comfortably eat with a dog, but it was completely full, so I went up to the 1st floor, away from the Food Square, and ate there!

For food hygiene and safety, you can enjoy packaged food with your dog there, so I happily got my sugar fix right next to Jadu.

How does the hojicha Wunder Gato (₩7,500) taste?

The moment I picked it up, the looks were so perfect I couldn't help gasping!

The hojicha Wunder Gato (₩7,500) pairs a nutty, smooth hojicha ice cream base with a bitter, strong shot, and the balance of flavors was really excellent.

I first spooned up the ice cream on top,

then drank the bottom part like a latte, which was a fun change.

Wunder Coffee Bar's Dwaeji Bar ice cream (₩6,500)

The Dwaeji Bar ice cream (₩6,500) (named after a Korean strawberry ice cream bar) has crunchy Dwaeji Bar crumble,

smooth soft serve and sweet strawberry jam syrup, all coming together as a classy version of the Dwaeji Bar!
