We had jjamppong, crab fried rice, and glutinous-rice tangsuyuk, and especially remembered the chewy noodles, shell-free seafood, and fried dumplings. Verdict: a family-friendly stop worth returning to for the dumplings.
Baedagol Bakery House is a garden bakery café in Wondang, Goyang, Gyeonggi. I tried the fresh melon latte, coffee, and hazelnut red bean butter bread while exploring its indoor seating, terrace, and spacious garden. Verdict: a perfect match for a quiet day relaxing in a big garden.
Dalgom's is a fried chicken takeout shop near the old chicken alley at Uijeongbu Jeil Market. I picked fried, garlic soy, and cheese mustard chicken for ₩24,000 to share with my family; we enjoyed the flavor choice, though there is no space to eat inside.
