29 Tamago Euljiro Branch

Today I'm introducing a great spot for a solo gimbap lunch in Euljiro: 29 Tamago Euljiro Branch.
Where is 29 Tamago Euljiro Branch? 2nd floor above Mega Coffee near Euljiro3-ga Station
29 Tamago Euljiro Branch is located at 17-1 Mareunnae-ro, 2nd floor, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's close to Euljiro3-ga Station.
Exterior

29 Tamago sits on the 2nd floor above a Mega Coffee. There are lots of offices nearby, so this Euljiro gimbap spot is packed with office workers for lunch and dinner!

29 Tamago's Euljiro branch is a gimbap spot where you can taste rolls stuffed full and built on a thick egg roll base. Keto gimbap and Vietnamese spring rolls are the signature dishes, making it an Euljiro restaurant where you can eat healthy in one meal. Delivery, takeout, and dine-in are all available.

Super Mario and a dinosaur greet you at the entrance. Business hours are posted at the door. The shop is closed every Sunday.
Inside 29 Tamago Euljiro Branch: interior and seating
Inside, tall windows give it a nice open feel, and the lighting and interior have a café-like vibe. There are surprisingly many tables, enough to seat a group of around 8.

The tall windows create a lovely open feel. On nice days they're thrown wide open, and the atmosphere is really lovely :)

The lighting and interior inside left an impression — it felt just like a café.

If you dine in, they bring the food to your table. There are surprisingly many tables, so even a group of around 8 could be seated. When I visited in the evening, a group was having a meal together with beer :)

The self-serve bar has spoons and chopsticks, sauces, and after-meal candy.
29 Tamago menu and prices (as of August 2026)

This is the menu as of August 2026. Along with gimbap, keto gimbap, and Vietnamese spring rolls, there are bunsik (Korean snack food) dishes that pair well with gimbap — like soup tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and jjolmyeon (chewy cold noodles). Best of all, they even have beer haha.
!! Heads up on sellouts !! Some items sell out depending on the day's ingredients, so if there's something you want, hurry ,,, (usually everything is available if you go at lunchtime)
The order: three gimbap rolls and sauce

I ordered the cheese-veggie whole egg gimbap for ₩9,500, the tuna-packed gimbap for ₩10,500, and the fried tofu-packed gimbap for ₩9,000.

Takeout came in disposable containers, packed individually and neatly. It'd be great to grab and head straight to a picnic.

At 29 Tamago they give you a sauce to eat alongside your gimbap or spring rolls.

They also note which sauce pairs well with which dish, so check it out for reference!
How does the cheese-veggie whole egg gimbap (₩9,500) taste?
The cheese-veggie whole egg gimbap is a regular (non-keto) roll for ₩9,500 filled with a thick egg roll, spicy fish cake, carrot, pickled radish, and burdock root. Even though it's not keto, the rice portion wasn't heavy, which I liked.

I almost ordered the keto gimbap but went with this regular roll instead. Even though it's not keto, the rice portion was light, which I appreciated. The ingredients looked fresh.

The cheese-veggie whole egg gimbap is filled with thick egg roll, spicy fish cake, carrot, pickled radish, and burdock root.

Even the end pieces are packed with thick egg — no disappointment there! Each piece was hearty-sized, giving a range of flavors in every bite. The freshness of the ingredients really came through. The vegetables were crunchy and it was seriously delicious.
Fried tofu-packed gimbap (₩9,000)

This is the fried tofu-packed gimbap, loaded with savory-salty fried tofu.

Egg roll, fried tofu, carrot, and burdock root filled in without a single gap, making it look really appetizing. The crunchy vegetables balanced well with the savory fried tofu, and the texture of the tofu was great.
Tuna-packed gimbap (₩10,500)

True to its name, this roll is packed with tuna — tuna takes up half the roll. It was light yet full of protein, and one roll left me really full.
Final verdict: a gimbap spot great for a solo Euljiro lunch or eating clean
Overall, 29 Tamago's gimbap had a well-balanced and fresh filling composition. It seems like a great Euljiro gimbap spot for anyone eating lunch alone in Euljiro or needing a healthy meal out. It's a good spot to visit if you're dieting or watching your meals. If you want a healthy meal that's also tasty with a good atmosphere, I recommend checking it out!
