Standard Square is also famous for its brewed coffee, and watching it being made is part of the fun. The new Nicaragua~ the aroma alone is totally 好好好好好 (so good)

Nicaragua brewed coffee: the pick for low acidity

The new brewed coffee at Standard Square (₩7,500) is Nicaragua El Cambalache Honey, a bean that placed 4th in Best of Marago, they said. I asked them to recommend the least acidic option, and they picked this one for me.

A pleasant acidity with a rich, nutty depth holding it all together, it's absolutely killer?! Hard to make it last, haha.

Pairing Basque cheesecake with Nicaragua brewed coffee

The Basque cheesecake at Standard Square (₩8,500) paired wonderfully with the Nicaragua brewed coffee. I set the signature scoop cake aside for a moment and chose the Basque cheesecake!

It came out slightly frozen, and that was a masterstroke. Creamy and smooth, yet still cold!

How was the hazelnut dark chocolate cookie?

The hazelnut dark chocolate cookie at Standard Square (₩4,700) didn't stand out awkwardly next to the brewed coffee. Once again, after picking it... 'Oh, I like dark chocolate.'

A grateful cookie, backed by a deep bittersweet, nutty richness~🍪
