Clam hot pot near National Assembly Station, Seoul: Gaetbeol-ui Jogae

Gaetbeol-ui Jogae Yeouido Main Branch is a seafood restaurant near National Assembly Station in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, serving giant clam hot pot. The writer travelled over from Jamsil after work on a Friday and ordered the giant clam hot pot for two at 59,000 won plus a mini seafood pancake at 6,000 won, and found fresh clams with no grit of sand, a clean refreshing broth and a generous self-bar. For this clam hot pot dinner, Gaetbeol-ui Jogae was well worth the long ride across Seoul.
