Onion ring side swap at a Yongsan burger restaurant: Bass Burger

Bass Burger Sinyongsan is a handmade burger restaurant at the entrance to Yongridan-gil on Hangang-daero 46-gil in Yongsan, Seoul. The Bass Chicken Burger set came with onion rings instead of the standard side and the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger set was swapped for crunchy chicken, alongside a chili mozza cheese bar, a Big Wave beer and free unlimited potato chips. Bass Burger Sinyongsan does both burgers and fried chicken well, so it works for a Yongridan-gil date or a beer-and-burger night.

Han River picnic sashimi takeout in Yeouido, Seoul: Ttangkkeut Maeul

Ttangkkeut Maeul is a sashimi takeout shop inside Noryangjin Fish Market in Dongjak, Seoul, closest to Gate 1 (South) and Gate 2 (South). For autumn, the order was the small assorted jack mackerel platter (striped jack mackerel, large flounder, large red seabream, sea bass), packed with chogochujang, ssamjang, four soy sauces and plenty of wasabi, then carried to Yeouido Hangang Park. Ttangkkeut Maeul is a perfect takeout stop for eating fatty autumn jack mackerel with the Han River lit up at night.
