Today I'm introducing Bass Burger Sinyongsan, a burger restaurant I heard about in Sinyongsan on Yongridan-gil — figured I'd check out one of Yongsan's hot spots while I was at it. I'll walk you through the vibe of the place and everything we ordered.

Where is Bass Burger Sinyongsan, and what are its hours?

Bass Burger Sinyongsan is on the 1st floor of 11 Hangang-daero 46-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It's open daily from 11:00 to 22:15, last order at 21:30, and you can park at the Samgakji Temporary Public Parking Lot (paid).

The red Bass Burger sign really caught my eye. With brick and wood-toned walls plus painted burger and drink illustrations, it had a casual American burger joint feel.

They also have Catch Table, so if there's a wait, you can register and go explore Yongridan-gil while you wait~!

Inside Bass Burger Sinyongsan: interior and terrace seats

Inside, Bass Burger Sinyongsan has a vintage feel with brick walls and wood tables. There are window seats and an inner terrace area too, making it a decent spot for a Yongridan-gil date.

The vintage brick-and-wood combo continued inside. The soft lighting gave it a cozy feel, and the window seats were great for people-watching!

There was also a terrace area further in. With leafy plants and string lights, it had a completely different mood from indoors.

They even had Febreze on hand so you could deal with any smell that clung to your clothes. I love this kind of thoughtful touch..💓

Here's a surprising fact about Bass Burger Sinyongsan!! The potato chips are free AND unlimited refills! This alone is enough to make the beer go down easy!!!

American high-teen drama vibes!!! This place nails both the looks and the taste, so if you're out exploring Yongridan-gil, you should definitely stop by at least once!! The interior and atmosphere are clean and warm, so I'd also recommend it for a Yongridan-gil date course!

Best sides at Bass Burger: chili mozza cheese bar and crunchy chicken

Among Bass Burger Sinyongsan's side dishes, I highly recommend the chili mozza cheese bar and crunchy chicken. Top left is the crunchy chicken, bottom right is the chili mozza cheese bar. Sometimes just a burger isn't enough! These two sides are perfect for those moments — highly recommend!

Here's the chili mozza cheese bar! You can see the cheese stretching, right? The looks and taste immediately explain why it's a popular menu item ㅠㅠ The chili sauce paired really well too, so delicious.

This is the crunchy chicken, which was way tastier than expected and surprised me! Bass Burger is known for its handmade burgers, but they clearly know how to do chicken too,,

How the Bass Chicken Burger and Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger taste

Here's the Bass Chicken Burger! Apparently Bass Burger's chicken is famous. So I ordered the chicken burger, and it was a choice I didn't regret,, my friend kept asking for more of the chicken burger too haha

The Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger! It's packed with plump shrimp. Great bite and full of shrimp flavor, and with the wasabi mayo added, it wasn't greasy at all — a flavor you keep wanting more of!

Trying Bass Burger's onion rings for the first time

These are the onion rings! I tried onion rings for the first time this day, and the outside was crispy while the onion inside was cooked soft — the texture was exactly my type,,

The subtle sweetness of the onion came through nicely and paired well with the salty batter — a perfect burger side! Highly recommend as a side dish!!

Verdict: worth it when you want a handmade burger in Yongsan

A great handmade burger spot in Yongsan, a great burger spot on Yongridan-gil — Bass Burger Sinyongsan. The chicken burger was crispy and the shrimp wasabi burger had a subtle tangy kick that was kind of addictive — we enjoyed both!!!

Above all, the fries — I mean chips — being free with unlimited refills made us eat with extra excitement. It's a solid, easygoing spot to stop by when craving a handmade burger in Yongsan, and I think I'll keep thinking about it. They also have a good beer selection and are clearly a beer spot too, so I want to come back on a day I'm craving beer!!
