In short
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu (빌라드블루 성수) is an Italian resort-style restaurant in an alley between Seoulsup and Ttukseom Station in Seongdong, Seoul. The writer ordered the aligot cheese lasagna (22,000 won), Pulpo Mambo octopus (25,000 won) and pre-meal bread (5,000 won for 4 pieces), and especially enjoyed piling the lasagna onto the bread and the fried potatoes served with the Pulpo Mambo. Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is a Seoulsup restaurant that suits dates and get-togethers, and the writer would happily go back.

I visited Billadeubeulleu Seongsu (빌라드블루 성수), a restaurant near Seoulsup. I found a great date spot with an Italian holiday-resort feel, so let me introduce it right away :)

Where is Billadeubeulleu Seongsu? Hours and parking
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is on the 1st floor of 46-10 Seoulsup 2-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and is open daily from 11:00 to 21:00. Break time is 15:30-17:00, last order is at 20:00, and it is closed on Mondays.
There is no parking at the restaurant, so I recommend the Ttukseom Yusuji public car park. It costs ₩150 per 5 minutes, or ₩1,800 per hour.

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu sits between Seoulsup and Ttukseom Station. It's in the area with lots of good Seoulsup restaurants, and you head into an alley to find it!

Is the Billadeubeulleu Seongsu terrace open? What's the interior like?
When I visited, Billadeubeulleu Seongsu was running indoors only, with no terrace. I had gone after reading terrace reviews, so it was a shame that only the inside was open!
The interior had an impressive Italian holiday-resort look, with window seats, tables for two, tables for four and more. It looked perfect for a date or a get-together👍🏻
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu menu and prices

- Aligot cheese lasagna ₩22,000
- Butter sizzling steak (per 100g) ₩16,000
- Abalone squid-ink risotto ₩25,000
- Truffle cream gnocchi ₩21,000
- Pulpo Mambo ₩25,000
The menu at Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is hugely varied. From the reviews, it seemed like everyone orders the lasagna, so I got the aligot cheese lasagna, the Pulpo Mambo and the pre-meal bread.

You order through Catchtable, and after you order they set the table with water and dishes. Like the restaurant's name (Villa de Blue), the plates and tables are all blue blue blue, which is a nice touch, right? :)

Is the ₩5,000 pre-meal bread at Billadeubeulleu Seongsu worth ordering?
The pre-meal bread at Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is ₩5,000 for 4 pieces and came out first. ₩5,000 for 4 pieces felt pricey, but after tasting it I understood the price.
The bread was really soft and drizzled with oil, so it was moist and delicious! (And imagine dipping it in the lasagna, how good that is.)
Aligot cheese lasagna (₩22,000): how does the cheese waterfall taste?
The aligot cheese lasagna (₩22,000) and the Pulpo Mambo (₩25,000) came out together. The look is insane, right? The lasagna and the octopus dish have arrived~~

For the aligot cheese lasagna, a staff member stirs the cheese and pours it over right at your table, and watching the cheese stretch and stretch makes your mouth water, haha
The lasagna gets tucked in under a blanket of cheese. It's a sight you can't not photograph :)

The nutty cheese went really well with the lasagna layered over a tomato base. The cheese was rich yet mild, like a high-end cheese, and the lasagna had soaked up the deep tomato sauce, so it tasted great and was filling too. It wasn't just good-looking...

Why you should put the lasagna on the pre-meal bread
The aligot cheese lasagna tasted even better piled on the pre-meal bread~ The nuttiness of the bread and the thick, rich lasagna go so well together that I kept putting more on. If you order the lasagna, have it with the bread!

Pulpo Mambo (₩25,000): how good is the octopus dish?
The Pulpo Mambo (₩25,000) is said to be a Mediterranean-style dish topped with a big octopus leg :) Can you see that huge octopus leg? You eat it with a smooth sauce, potatoes and green peas.
All my attention had been on the lasagna, but the moment I dipped the octopus in the sauce I was shocked at how sooooo good it was.

The octopus in the Pulpo Mambo was big and meaty, which I liked, and it went well with the romesco sauce and the oil, giving a great savory depth. The potatoes weren't just boiled but fried, so they were slightly crispy outside and moist inside, and sooo good🤤
I strongly recommend trying the Pulpo Mambo at least once :) Great atmosphere, great food, I officially approve this Seoulsup restaurant.
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu verdict: a Seoulsup spot for dates and get-togethers
Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is a Seoulsup restaurant where you can feel a European vibe in Korea! The menu is built around dishes that go well with wine or beer, and it was perfect for a date or a get-together.
I found myself wanting to bring my friends to Billadeubeulleu Seongsu when we meet up. I would absolutely go back :)
