This was my first time using a MagSafe phone stand. The biggest change I noticed was that I spent less time holding my phone in my hand. I found myself using it often at home to watch videos or take photos.

How convenient was it for watching videos in bed?

It was useful when I put the stand on the nightstand beside my bed and watched YouTube or Netflix while lying down. Before, my arm would hurt and I would keep changing my phone’s position, but once it was on the stand, I only had to set the screen angle and watch. In my case, it also felt easier on my wrists.

Did I use it for photos and as a desk clock too?
I also used it when taking photos by myself, shooting food photos, or filming simple videos. For the simple shoots I do, it was enough to use in place of a tripod. It was easy to adjust the angle, and there was less shaking, so the results came out more stable too.

When I mounted my iPhone horizontally and used StandBy mode, I used it like a clock. Sitting it at one side of my desk, its minimalist design blended nicely with the space and felt like a little décor piece.

Was it easy to change the angle to eye level?
Personally, angle adjustment was my favorite part. Fixed stands have sometimes felt awkward depending on my eye level or table height, but this stand was easy to rotate side to side or switch between landscape and portrait.

Once I changed the screen orientation to suit the situation, I could drink something or do other things while watching a video. Not having to hold my phone was more comfortable than I expected.
Were the magnetic attachment and base stable?

When I attached my phone, the magnet felt like it held it firmly. During my use, the mounted phone barely shook.

Even after attaching and removing my phone repeatedly, it stayed securely in place without feeling loose. The stand itself also felt sturdy.

There was a non-slip pad on the bottom. When I used it on my desk, the base held up well without wobbling.

How else did I use it at home besides watching videos?
It was also convenient to set it at one side of the kitchen and cook while watching recipe videos, or to follow a makeup tutorial at my vanity. I used it wherever I spent time, including around the bed and sofa and at my desk.
As I spent less time holding my phone, I felt there was a difference in both fatigue and concentration. Looking at my phone while lying down at night also felt less tiring on my eyes, although that is just my subjective impression from using it.
In my experience, it was especially useful for someone who watches videos often or takes photos alone. In particular, it helped me change my habit of holding my phone for a long time while watching it in bed.
