Diamond painting sealer shine test: Hasi Diamond Sealer
In short
Hasi Diamond Sealer is a PVA coating solution for diamond painting and puzzle projects in Korea. I used the included silicone brush on a diamond painting finished years ago, comparing its sparkle and color before and after drying for at least 2 hours. Verdict: a worthwhile way to keep treasured projects secure and shiny.

My years-old diamond painting started losing beads
Have you ever tried diamond painting? At Photo Couple’s house, Tosil has a diamond-painting piece they completed a few years ago after devoting their entire vacation to it, haha. After a few years, though, one or two of the little gems started falling off... 😱 After all those painstaking little pieces...!

Inside are the coating solution and a silicone brush.

I think the packaging is pretty.

It was recently made, so there’s plenty of time before the use-by date, and the illustrated instructions are nice and clear.

It even includes the tool, so there’s no need to buy one separately—perfect!

Opening and applying Hasi Diamond Sealer
Alright then, let’s get started.

Remove the inner stopper~~

Close the lid again, then twist only the top part—opened!

My diamond-painting piece is about to become sturdier and sparkly with Hasi Diamond Coating Gel. It wasn’t something I was dying to buy, haha—I just chose it because it was pretty, though it does feel a little stately too, haha.
Don’t just pour it on like this, haha. I was filming, and Podong and I weren’t quite in sync, honestly haha.

But it spreads nicely with the silicone brush, so there’s not really such a thing as failing. Don’t worry, haha.

A generous amount and sparkle before and after drying
It’s a safe PVA coating solution, so it can be used for different purposes, and because it’s water-soluble, anything on your hands washes off with water—no worries~~ There was plenty, even though this is quite a large piece. It doesn’t run, either, so even beginners can achieve a clear, perfectly secured finish!

Right after applying it, it definitely sparkles. But this isn’t fully dry yet, haha—you need to let it dry for at least 2 hours. Coated on the left and uncoated on the right; you can clearly see the difference, right? Once dry, it turns completely clear without a trace, though.

You can compare them, right? (Here, the right side is the coated one, haha.) The colors come alive. The glossy finish makes it sparkle even more ✨️

You can coat puzzles and diamond-painting pieces so easily, so don’t just leave your treasured work sitting around—give it a thorough coat of Hasi Diamond Coating Gel to keep it sturdy and shining~😉
