Why I wanted a natural down perm

My side hair tends to stick out somewhat, so I place importance on a balance that suits my head shape when I get my hair done. Rather than pressing it down as strongly as possible, even with the same down perm, I wanted a style where the side and top hair flowed together naturally.

What did I ask for in the consultation?

Rather than hair that was too short or pressed down too strongly, I asked for a neat style that suited my usual wardrobe in my 30s. I wanted something that would not feel too much for work, while also working with casual weekend outfits.

Before the service, we discussed my current hair and the look I wanted, then worked out the overall balance. It felt important to adjust how much the parts of my side hair that stick out would be pressed down.

How did the side line change after the down perm?
