Bakery café in Suwon for choco lovers: Deep Choco Bagel, Orange Bagel
In short
Orange Bagel is a three-floor, Brooklyn-style bakery café on Omokcheon-ro in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon. The writer chose the Deep Choco Bagel (₩6,300) to compare with the trendy choco baguette, and also tried the Double Cream Bagel, butter tteok (butter mochi), a hazelnut latte and a strawberry latte. Orange Bagel's thick, rich Deep Choco Bagel won over a chocolate-loving friend, making it a Suwon bakery café worth recommending for a date.

In short, Orange Bagel in Suwon is a large three-floor café with Brooklyn vibes, great for dates, with chewy chocolate bagels and a big parking lot. Okay, here comes the detailed review.
Is parking easy at Orange Bagel?
There's a large parking lot in front of Orange Bagel, so parking was roomy and comfortable, and it was free. Even the sign you can see from far away felt like being somewhere in the US, which got me excited.
Orange Bagel's brick exterior: a large café in Suwon
Honestly, Orange Bagel is a place I've been meaning to visit for years. It's a big café with a brick exterior, and I really liked the interior.

What bagels and breads does Orange Bagel's bakery sell?

Now let's take a slow look around. True to a bakery café, Orange Bagel has a really wide variety of breads.

The one that caught my eye was the Deep Choco! I was craving something sweet that day.

There were lots of other fillings too, like one with cheese inside.

It's not only bagels; there are various other breads too, so I'd recommend this café to bread lovers.

There was even a smoked salmon bagel in the fridge, one of my favorites! I'd already had lunch, so I'll try it next time.

With so many kinds of bread, I looked around slowly and then placed my order.
What is the first floor of Orange Bagel like?

I looked around the first floor first, and the totally authentic American vibe reminded me of the time I used to live in the US. It really touched my heart.

Every one of these little props was cute and cool.

Forks, knives, napkins and so on are set out like a self-serve bar so you can take just what you need, which was very convenient too.

Cute and charming, like being in Brooklyn in the US!

On one side, they were also selling a variety of sauces that go well with bagels.
From the 2nd floor to the 3rd-floor rooftop: is there enough seating?
As a big three-floor café in Suwon, Orange Bagel's second floor is really spacious too. With group seating, 4-person tables and more, it seems great for group gatherings and family get-togethers.
This was my favorite space! It had a feel reminiscent of a chessboard. There's also a section that feels like an American burger joint.

On the way up the stairs, there are framed pictures on the wall, so it feels like being in an art museum or an exhibition!

The rooftop surprised me. It isn't an ordinary rooftop; one wall feels like a New York street in the US! It was like looking at a gorgeous mural.
How do Orange Bagel's hazelnut latte and strawberry latte taste?

Our strawberry latte and hazelnut latte came out! The hazelnut latte has a deep hazelnut aroma, so I'd totally recommend it to anyone who loves hazelnut coffee. The strawberry latte, which I picked myself, had sweet strawberry pulp.

Deep Choco Bagel vs the choco baguette: how does it compare?
The choco baguette is so famous these days that at Orange Bagel, a top bakery in Suwon, I compared it using the Deep Choco Bagel. The chewy chocolate bagel had such a rich flavor that I had to give it credit.

My friend is a certified chocolate lover, and even she admitted the chocolate was thick and rich.

The Deep Choco Bagel has rich chocolate inside and the bread itself is strongly chocolatey, so I'd recommend it to chocolate lovers ^^

Are the Double Cream Bagel and butter tteok worth ordering?
And the Double Cream Bagel! I didn't expect much, but there was a huge amount of cream, thicker than regular cream, and it was totally nutty and rich.
The butter mochi (butter tteok) that so many people are looking for these days! It has a strong butter aroma, so I'd recommend it if you like butter mochi.
Having a bagel with coffee for the first time in a while felt very harmonious, like being a New Yorker. Orange Bagel is a good stop for photos and dessert on a Suwon date or outing. For anyone looking for a great bakery in Suwon, I'd recommend the Deep Choco Bagel as a comparison to the choco baguette ^^
