Lash perm salon in Gwanak, Seoul for inline double eyelids: Yeppeojina

Today I felt like changing up my eyes for the first time in a while, so I decided to get a lash perm.

Where is Yeppeojina and what is the salon like?

Yeppeojina is a lash perm salon on the ground floor of a building near Bongcheon Station, so it's easy to get to and easy to find. Maybe because they only take 1–2 parties per hour, the inside was really clean and pleasant.

When you go in, you change into indoor slippers like this. There's also a spot near the entrance to hang your coat or put your bag, which was handy.

This is what the interior looks like, and it was cozy and lovely. :) The decor is a clean white and wood tone, so I felt relaxed the whole time, both waiting and during the treatment. I arrived a little early and sat on the sofa until the person before me finished. The sofa was pretty comfortable and there was plenty to look at, so I never got bored.

How does the consultation before a lash perm at Yeppeojina work?

At Yeppeojina, you fill out an order sheet before the treatment, have a consultation based on what you checked, and then the actual treatment begins. On the order sheet you tick your current situation and the type of lashes you want.

Oh, they asked me to fill something out before the treatment, and when I looked closer it was a treatment order sheet. I'd never filled out a consultation sheet at any other lash perm place, so I quite liked this. (It felt like a 1:1 customized treatment, haha)

If you have a habit of rubbing your eyes often

I have a habit of rubbing my eyes a lot. I ticked that on the order sheet and told them, and they explained the precautions in more detail and recommended a U-line perm to suit my eyes. The other precautions are written out in detail on the sheet below, so I read it once more after the perm.

The one below seemed to be an event they were running, so I took a separate photo. Yeppeojina seems to do not just lash perms and extensions but also eyebrow tinting (brow coloring), and I thought I'd try that too if I get the chance.

What are the treatment room and treatment time like at Yeppeojina?

The Yeppeojina lash perm and Black Tintin set took about 1 hour in total. The treatment room had certificates and awards on display, which looked very professional, and all the staff seemed highly skilled. Haha.

The treatment bed was so, so soft and comfortable. I meant to stay awake, but I fell into a deep sleep partway through and when I looked, the treatment was already over;; I think it would be great for people who are sleep-deprived or have insomnia.... Thanks to this day, I slept really well too... heh...

Before and after: inline double eyelids and short lashes

The Yeppeojina U-curl perm turned out so, so successful!! Here are the before and after.

Before

• I have inline double eyelids, so the front part of my eyes looks almost like a monolid.
• I have plenty of lashes but they're short and droop straight down, so unless I use an eyelash curler, my lashes are almost invisible from the front because of the double lid plus short lashes. T.T

After

• Those hidden lashes over there popped up all fluffy and I was so happy!!
• U-curl: I got the U-curl, and they set the line to fit my eye shape, not too close to the lid and not too far in.
• I didn't get extensions, but it somehow felt like I had, which was really nice, and since my lashes lift instead of drooping, they don't poke my eyes.
• Adding the Black Tintin made my eyes look even clearer, like I was wearing mascara, and I was very satisfied haha
• The conclusion: a very, very satisfied after review~~~~

Did it give a made-up look even with a bare face?

Even though I had a bare face after the Yeppeojina lash perm, it felt like I had makeup on. I took another photo of my fluffy lashes once I got home haha. I went bare-faced that day, but probably because of the lashes it looked like I'd done my makeup, and that made me very, very happy ><
