While looking around Seoul Forest cafés for a good soufflé spot, 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch came to mind again, so I went back for a revisit.
Plenty of cafés are one-and-done visits, but 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch has a comfortable space and a wide range of soufflé flavors, so it kept popping into my head even after time passed.
It's easy to get to, sitting between Seoul Forest Station and Ttukseom Station, and the space is split across the first floor, second floor, and terrace, so it works well whether you're alone, on a date, or with a group.
Above all, true to its reputation as a soufflé spot near Seoul Forest, the options ranged from ube to strawberry, mango, tiramisu, and matcha — genuinely fun to choose from.
Location and hours of 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is located at 44-13 Seoulsup 2-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, 1st floor.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Seoul Forest Station, or about 8 minutes from Exit 8 of Ttukseom Station, so it's easy to reach from either station.
Hours are daily from noon to 9pm, with last order at 8:30pm.
Group seating, takeout, Wi-Fi, and mobile payment are all available, so it works for different kinds of visits depending on your purpose.
Parking is available too, though paid, which is a nice option for anyone visiting Seoul Forest by car.
It also fits naturally into a route — stop by for dessert after a walk in Seoul Forest, or head over after a meal in Seongsu.
From the 1st floor to the 2nd floor and terrace — more spacious than it looks

5to7 Seongsu Main Branch uses both the first and second floors, so the interior feels roomier than the exterior suggests.
The first floor has a cozier feel, and the window seats are great for slowly enjoying dessert while looking outside.
On my last visit I sat by the window on a rainy day, and I liked that mood so much I came back.
When the weather's nice, the terrace seats are also available, which suit the relaxed atmosphere that's so characteristic of Seoul Forest.
The second floor has more tables with comfortable spacing between them, so it looked good not just for one or two people but for groups of four or more.
Visiting around 2pm on a weekday, it was fairly quiet, so it seemed like a comfortable spot for anyone opening a laptop to work or just spending time quietly.
The staff were friendly too, so on this revisit I could stay without any pressure.
From ube to matcha — soufflé flavors that are fun to choose from

The biggest draw of 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is definitely the soufflé lineup.
Ube, strawberry, mango, pearl crème brûlée, tiramisu, and matcha soufflés are all on offer, so it's easy to pick based on your mood.
Compared to cafés with only one or two staple items, being able to pick a different flavor every visit makes you want to come back.
Since soufflés are made fresh after ordering, you really get to enjoy that soft, moist texture.
The drink lineup to go with dessert was varied too.
Beyond coffee, there's non-coffee, tea, and ade, plus decaf options, so it's an easy visit even in the late afternoon or evening.
That day, choosing dessert took a while precisely because the menu was so varied — it was fun agonizing over what to get.
Why the second visit felt more comfortable than the first

The strengths of 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch came through more clearly on this second visit than on the first.
The space is roomy and each floor has a slightly different mood, so you can pick a seat to match your mood that day, and I didn't feel out of place going alone.

It also works well for dates or blind dates where atmosphere matters, and during quiet weekday hours it looked good for studying or laptop work.
There were quite a few foreign visitors that day, which gave the impression that it's already become a well-known café among tourists visiting Seoul Forest and Seongsu.
If you want a Seoul Forest café centered on soufflés, 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is definitely a place worth returning to.
With its variety of soufflé flavors, close proximity to Seoul Forest, and spacious layout across the first and second floors, it's the kind of place that comes to mind again whenever I'm craving a soufflé near Seoul Forest.
