I had my bridal shower, haha! (Congrats to me!) My wedding is almost here, so I held a bridal shower with friends from my middle school days. I wanted a place that was close by, where we could have a simple meal and, most importantly, where photos come out great!! So I went to New Chapter Studio, a newly opened rental party room at Dongam Station in Bupyeong ◟( ˘ ³˘)◞ ♡
Where is New Chapter Studio in Bupyeong, and is there parking?
New Chapter Studio is at 12-1 Baegot-ro, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, Room 302 on the 3rd floor, and its hours are listed as daily 05:00–24:00. There's no parking at the building, so use the Byeokdolmak public parking lot.
The studio is 400m from Exit 2 of Dongam Station, so it's really easy to get to. It's on the 3rd floor, so just take the building's elevator up.

When you book the party room, tell the owner you're planning a bridal shower and they'll decorate a bridal shower photo zone beautifully and with real flair. It was the first thing I saw the moment I walked in!!!
A bridal shower is about celebrating the wedding, sure, but what matters most is the photos you take with your friends before getting married, right?!! Haha. For someone like me who loves taking photos, how things look in the photo zone matters more than anything, and New Chapter Studio passes with flying colors, starting with the photo zone.
Can you eat food inside the New Chapter Studio party room?
The party room has a sink, a fridge, and even a water dispenser that gives you water and ice, so it was great for ordering delivery food. It only opened recently, so everything was clean and tidy!
Ice! Amazing!! We ordered delivery, and we could have our cola with ice floating in it. There were also tea bags for easy brewing, which was so nice, haha.
On top of the sink cabinet there are also bowls, cups, chopsticks, scissors and more, which came in really handy.
What supplies does New Chapter Studio provide?
There's an air fryer, a microwave, and a child-sized chair and table, haha. Plus a tripod for taking photos, a partition for changing clothes, and a full-length mirror!! It felt like they have absolutely everything, and the owner's thoughtfulness showed all over the place, haha.
And the best part: the bathroom is NOT the building's shared one!!!!! It's inside the party room. Going to the bathroom is so convenient and pleasant. There's also a Stanby Me (a portable touchscreen display) for playing music or videos, and we played songs from YouTube, haha.
Dress and photo prop rentals at New Chapter Studio
You can rent outfits here too! There are a few black dresses that suit a bridal shower, and a dress that works well for maternity shoots. There was also a child's hanbok (traditional Korean dress)~
They also left an iPhone 6 out for shooting, haha. Such a crazy good touch, really!! You all know the iPhone 6 vibe, right?! Haha.
How did our bridal shower photos at New Chapter Studio turn out?
The place itself is so pretty that even a few clicks gave great photos. I thought shooting would take a long time, but it finished faster than expected!
With the soft natural light and the green-and-white styled table, the photos can't help but come out pretty!! Of course, my friend is also good at taking photos, haha (results at the end).
The cake my friends prepared for the bridal shower!! Fresh flowers poked all over it, like a Devil Fruit (from One Piece)?? Isn't it so pretty for a cake, haha. Girls, thank you for coming all this way and spending such a good time with me, haha.
And here are the bridal shower photos we took! Don't they look so pretty? I had no time that day to style my hair properly and just tied it up, but the vibe with it tied up is great, right, haha.
And a moody shot my friend took for me!! It became my KakaoTalk wallpaper that very day, hahaha. It's a once-in-a-lifetime bridal shower, and I spent such a meaningful time.
