Bucheon bakery with free basement parking, chestnut mochi loaf takeout

Hey guys~ Do you like fresh milk bread? On a trip to Bucheon I stopped by Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong, which everyone says makes incredibly chewy milk bread from fresh ingredients!! I got the soboro chestnut mochi milk bread, and it turned out to be the perfect autumn pick!! (chestnuts are just too good)

Where is Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong, and where do you park?

Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is at 272 Giljuro, Unit 113, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and it's open 09:00–21:00. Parking is free in the store's basement lot.

Here's the exterior! The white-and-green look is so pretty~ We drove in and parked in the basement lot, then came up to pick up bread~! Takeout-only bakeries often don't offer parking, but Easy White Bread supports free parking too!!

Easy White Bread is Bon IF's fresh milk bread specialty bakery brand, known for its rich flavor thanks to carefully chosen ingredients like AOP French butter and dairy cream. They'd just launched a deep, rich chocolate milk bread, and even though I visited on a weekday, customers kept streaming in.

Inside the bakery and the free bread samples

Here's the inside of Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong! The moment I walked in, that deep bread smell had me drooling haha. The store was kept spotlessly clean, and there were samples out too, so I'd recommend stopping in for a taste!

Milk bread flavors, loaf sizes and slice thickness

They bake fresh milk bread at set times each day, and besides the signature Golden Beurre milk bread, they also sell walnut rye milk bread, soboro chestnut mochi, and more.

I originally came to try the signature loaf, but the chestnut bread looked so good I agonized over it haha. Besides the loaves, they also sell a moist milk-cream fruit sando (fruit sandwich)!

Beyond the fresh milk bread, you can also enjoy brewed coffee, non-coffee drinks, and homemade soup, and the loaves come in whole or half sizes!! They can also cut the bread for you, but only loaves fully cooled 30+ minutes after baking, in a choice of 1.5cm, 2cm or 2.5cm. How to store Easy White Bread's milk bread

They say the milk bread tastes best when torn along the grain on the day of purchase, and after that it should be frozen!! Slice it thick, wrap each slice individually in plastic, then store in a zipper bag — this blocks moisture loss from the cut surface and keeps out freezer odors. Frozen bread can be re-cooked in a microwave, air fryer, or pan and toaster, so use whichever method suits you~

Tasting the soboro chestnut mochi milk bread and strawberry latte

We ordered the soboro chestnut mochi milk bread and a strawberry latte!! Looked so good, let's hurry home~

I bought the strawberry latte as a drink for the road — wow, why is their strawberry latte this good? It's rich with plenty of fresh strawberry flavor, so I'd highly, highly recommend it to fellow strawberry lovers!! And also, why is this loaf so heavy?!? Apparently that dense, compressed weight means the inside is packed full.

Once home, I tried the soboro chestnut mochi milk bread!! Can you see the grain of the bread?~ They said tearing it apart is the tastiest way, but I cut it open to show you the cross-section. Chestnut bread with mochi and big chestnut chunks packed all through it.

The taste was seriously incredible — it felt like eating a truly high-end loaf...? Like the Hermès of milk bread? I've never had bread this luxurious, clean, and deeply flavorful in my life. I paired it with yogurt and iced Americano for a satisfying meal. Bread this good would make my bread-loving friends so happy, so I need to go buy some as a gift soon!!!
