Dessert café at Songdo outlet: Wunder Gato tasting just like Bucheon

Hi everyone~ with the weather getting hot, aren't you craving cold ice cream or an affogato?! I normally only drink iced Americanos, but every summer I get so hot that I always end up looking for an affogato. Wunder Coffee Bar, a café in Bucheon I visited in the past and which is famous for really good affogato, has just opened a branch at the Hyundai Premium Outlet (Songhyeona)!! As soon as I heard, I wanted an affogato so badly that I ran straight there!! ◟( ˘ ³˘)◞ ♡

Where is Wunder Coffee Bar in Songhyeona, Songdo?

Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is in the B1 food square of the outlet at 123 Songdogukje-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. Head further in from Gong Cha. It is open daily 10:30–21:00, and the outlet's free parking is available.

Wunder Coffee Bar in the B1 food square!! B1 of the outlet has lots to eat, lots of pop-ups and lots to see, so I was so happy it's right here!! To think I'd meet the Wunder Coffee Bar I saw in Bucheon again in Songdo!!

Wunder Coffee Bar started in August 2019 in an 8-pyeong (about 26 m²) space in Yeokgok, Bucheon. It sells the signature Wunder Gato, plenty of other desserts and tasty coffees, and it left a real impression when I visited in Bucheon! Meeting it again feels so nostalgic, haha

What's on the Wunder Coffee Bar menu?

The signature Wunder Gato is an affogato, and you can choose hojicha (roasted green tea), vanilla, or a hojicha & vanilla mix. They also sell soft serve, Dwaeji Bar ice cream (a popsicle-style Korean ice cream bar), Einspänner (coffee topped with thick cream) and many other drinks and coffees. Their iced Americano is really good too, *whispers*

Here's the menu!! There are set menus, so if two of you share, it's cheaper, and they sell kaimak (a thick, clotted-cream-like Turkish dairy spread) too!! (Kaimak from Wunder Coffee Bar? I have to try this.) They also have tangerine grapefruit juice, ades, cream matcha and more!

Wunder Coffee Bar also sells beans in the shop!! Decaf beans too. The Americano is really good, so try it first, and if it's your taste, I recommend buying the beans!! I wondered, would it taste like it did in Bucheon?! and the taste hadn't changed, still nutty and sweet :)

I'm told Wunder Coffee Bar's oat coffee uses rich, nutty Amazing Oat, which gives it a great savory depth :)

What we ordered: Wunder Gato, Wunder Coffee, Americano and kaimak

We ordered the Wunder Gato (affogato), the Wunder Coffee (Einspänner), an Americano and kaimak~!!! We ordered the Americano and kaimak as a set, so it was cheaper, haha. There are food court tables right next to the shop, so we grabbed a spot and sat down.

Wunder Gato: smooth, sweet premium ice cream affogato

First, the Wunder Gato I fell for in Bucheon!! Wunder Coffee Bar's ice cream is different from ordinary shops. It's premium ice cream that's really smooth, sweet and delicious!

I scooped it with the spoon they gave us, and once it melted I drank it with the coffee, and this is a real treat, lol. Totally sweet and nutty, so delicious.

Wunder Coffee (Einspänner): approved by my coffee-savvy boyfriend

The Einspänner, called Wunder Coffee!! My boyfriend ordered this, and the moment he tasted it he said, "Wow, they do coffee so well here," and couldn't stop praising it, lol. Even my coffee-expert boyfriend was won over; it's a high-quality, tasty Einspänner :)

Americano: nutty and dark

And the Americano!!! The coffee flavor at Wunder Coffee Bar is really good. It's a cold Americano that's nutty and dark, a taste everyone will like, with no divided opinions!

Kaimak (Turkish clotted cream) with ciabatta

And then the kaimak!! They gave us a paper explaining how to enjoy kaimak, and plenty of bread to dip in :)

It was my first time trying Wunder Coffee Bar's kaimak, and the thick, sweet kaimak with ciabatta was such a great combo, haha

Is Wunder Coffee Bar Songdo worth a visit?

Having such a satisfying dessert time, a coffee break at the outlet, isn't this so healing?! From coffee to ice cream to kaimak, every item was high quality, without a single letdown!

Coffee, kaimak and ice cream are all delicious at Wunder Coffee Bar. Now you see why it was famous in Bucheon, right?! If you visit the outlet, it's a must-try spot.
