Here is my café recommendation near Seoul Children's Grand Park! This coffee shop is famous for having a national-team barista, and I had heard its mango bingsu was seriously delicious too. So I went straight there and had the mango bingsu as well.

It was already well known for its coffee, but in summer you can enjoy its bingsu menu too, making it a great stop to add to a Children's Grand Park outing!

There were quite a lot of customers inside, and it was packed when I visited, so I could really see why it is such a popular café near Children's Grand Park. Still, it did not feel chaotically crowded; lots of people were lingering over coffee and dessert, so the overall atmosphere was lively.

From choosing beans to a free refill

Everyone has different tastes in coffee, right? I loved that you can choose beans based on whether you prefer a nutty, full-bodied style or coffee with noticeable acidity.

They also sell gift sets with such pretty packaging.

Isn't one free refill when you dine in honestly an unbelievable system? The coffee is already good, and then it is refillable too. There really was a reason it is so popular.

You can order easily at the kiosk. It has photos too, which made ordering convenient.

There are board games in the café too, so we had a fun time there -!

Plus, they pull the espresso shot separately and serve it alongside your drink, so you can adjust the strength yourself!

Since it does not arrive already mixed strong from the start, you can add the shot little by little and find your ideal strength. I think both people who like mild coffee and those who like it strong would enjoy it!

My first butter rice cake

They had plenty of light desserts to have with coffee, from scones, financiers, and egg tarts to butter rice cake. It was my first time trying butter rice cake here, and it was much more delicious than I expected.

I was curious what butter rice cake would taste like, but it had that characteristically chewy rice-cake texture along with a subtle nutty butter flavor—so good with coffee!

The mango bingsu does not come in the usual style with all the mango piled onto the ice at once. The milk snowflake bingsu and mango toppings come separately, which was great because I could portion them as I liked. I added as much mango and topping as I wanted. There was a whole mound of finely shaved white milk ice -!

The milk snowflake ice itself was soft and melted away in my mouth, and it went so well with lots of sweet mango on top. Anyone who loves sweet desserts would absolutely enjoy this!

Soft milk snowflake ice, heaped with sweet mango and eaten with chewy jelly toppings—dessert perfection -! The sweet mango and chewy, jelly-like coconut jelly? came in separate containers, and I loved that.

The jelly had the feel of the kind inside Coco Palm—sweet and tasty. At first I wondered whether the portion might be small, but as I ate, it turned out to be quite generous: just the right size.

Mango bingsu that melts away softly. If you are craving refreshing, sweet mango bingsu, I definitely recommend visiting Wonz Coffee near Children's Grand Park at least once -!
