Seating and atmosphere from B1 to the 3rd floor
Bakerist Brown is a large café and large bakery café in Gangnam. It uses the entire building, from B1 up to the 3rd floor!
Think of it as a whole building that's just one café. With spacious floors from B1 to 3F, there's plenty of room to spread out, so it's comfortable to use.

First, the 1st floor has the bread display and the counter, so that's where you pick your bread and drinks. Then B1, 2F and 3F all have roomy tables.
With big picture windows and a mix of wooden tables, the atmosphere is cozy, and above all it's a great place for a relaxed chat.

How were the coffee and the black sesame cream latte?
The drinks at Bakerist Brown are seriously good. This place is a real coffee spot. I fell for the coffee, and it was so good I finished it in no time. The beans have a mature body and nuttiness that really stand out. The nutty, bittersweet side of the espresso is maximized, and the deep flavor is the best.

The black sesame cream latte is Bakerist Brown's bestselling drink, a latte topped with a thick, chewy, heavy layer of black sesame cream. The cream really is thick and super chewy. Taken as is, the nutty black sesame and sweet cream come in softly, then the bittersweet espresso mixes in behind it, and the balance is the best. There's little of the dry, chalky feel of black sesame, and the nuttiness feels dense, which makes it taste upscale.

Gangnam Sand set of 6: what's inside and my top pick
Here's what's in the Gangnam Sand set (6 pieces).
- Sweet Pumpkin Jack: sweet pumpkin & butter
- Black Grain: black sesame cream
- Rich ganache: chocolate & cream
- London Fog: Earl Grey & white chocolate
- Cream Forest: matcha & cream cheese
- Golden Hour: caramel & white chocolate
The Gangnam Sand is a butter cookie sandwich filled with rich cream and filling, and with so many kinds, it's fun to pick your favorites. The cookies aren't hard at all, they're soft, and they blend really well with the nutty cream. My top pick is matcha & cream cheese!! I want to eat it again. So classy, the best!
If you can't decide on a Gangnam café, definitely visit Bakerist Brown.
