Guys,,, I found it,,, a truly great restaurant near Central Park,,, Wangchang Jokbal is seriously delicious, the owner and staff are all so kind, the portions are big and the prices are fair,,, I'd go back a hundred percent, so let me introduce this Central Park gem!
What is the Wangchang Jokbal restaurant like?
Wangchang Jokbal (왕창족발) is a spacious jokbal restaurant near Sunae Station and Bundang Central Park. You can tell the big space is kept clean and tidy.
The owner seems to put a lot of care into the place.
We use only domestic raw trotters boiled the same day.
No wonder it tasted so good.
There's a reason Wangchang Jokbal has a reputation as a Central Park favorite. With only domestic raw trotters boiled the same day, it can't really taste bad! While we ate in the restaurant, a lot of delivery orders kept coming in too.

What side dishes come at Wangchang Jokbal?
The side dishes before the jokbal even arrives are really good. This eoligul-jeot (salted oysters) especially... the best. They even sell it separately, and it's so tasty I get why.
Seasoned dried radish and chive salad
The seasoned dried radish is really good too. It's sweet, sour and spicy all at once, and it pairs well with jokbal.
The chive salad is a strong recommendation too! It's nutty and sweet, so when you wrap jokbal in lettuce and add it, the wrap gets so much richer.
Wrap vegetable refill and soybean paste soup
The fresh wrap vegetables are good too. When we finished them, the owner refilled them without us even asking, and I was so touched,,, to look after customers this well,,,
The doenjang-guk (soybean paste soup) is good too. After eating jokbal hard, one spoonful of the soup cleans your mouth right up and you can dive back into jokbal endlessly haha
Is the medium Original Jokbal enough for two?
The medium Original was labeled 2–3 servings, but the two of us nearly burst our bellies! Just look at this glossy jokbal. Wangchang Jokbal, the Central Park favorite, is tasty and generous, so I'm really satisfied.

How does the Original Jokbal taste?
Ahh... the moment I took one bite I shouted, this really is a Central Park gem! Wangchang's Original is chewy and tender, with a deep, nutty flavor that stands out. It's so good!!!!
Bottled beer, Cass for us! A glass of beer with jokbal makes it even more refreshing and tasty. Such a happy time,,,
Juicy, tender, nutty and a little salty, yet not overpowering. Wangchang Jokbal, I officially approve you as a Central Park gem.
Free steamed egg
Wangchang Jokbal gave us steamed egg for free too. The best, just the best
Enjoying jokbal in different ways: eat it on its own, or wrap it in lettuce with all sorts of things. Eating it in many ways keeps it from getting boring.
Can you take leftover jokbal to go?
We were so full after the medium Original that we packed up the rest. Leftover jokbal eaten at home the next day is heavenly.
I'm so happy to have found a really tasty Central Park spot after so long.
