Why we ended up at Butter & Shelter Yeonnam, a date café in Yeonnam-dong
The weather has been so nice every weekend lately that my fiancé and I keep heading out on little outings.
Today I was craving baked sweets, so we wandered the alleys of Yeonnam-dong looking for a good dessert shop, and we happened to spot a pretty building with a totally European vibe from the outside! (✿´‿`)

Is Butter & Shelter Yeonnam pet-friendly?
You can use the terrace with your pet at Butter & Shelter Yeonnam. The sign next to the entrance says the terrace is fine to enjoy with a pet, but for hygiene reasons pets aren't allowed inside the shop. Once it gets a bit cooler, it would be lovely to come back with a cute dog and spend time outdoors.

The Americano at Butter & Shelter Yeonnam has no sourness, just a nutty, bittersweet taste that cleanly balanced the sweet cookies. The cookies came out on a plate with big toppings, which looked so appetizing (๑>◡<๑)
The choco s'mores cookie has a chewy, stretchy marshmallow in the middle and Oreo pieces baked in, so the sweetness was rich. The Hwangchigeo cream cheese cookie had a salty cheese flavor that blended nicely with the soft cream cheese inside.
The sweet-and-salty combo worked, and my fiancé said he didn't get sick of it and ate it up.

The lighting inside Butter & Shelter Yeonnam is soft, so photos come out calm and moody. We took a photo side by side in front of the mirror, and it captured the atmosphere well.
The space is clean overall and the desserts are good in a back-to-basics way, so I recommend it if you're looking for a café with a terrace around Yeonnam-dong!!
