A Baegun Lake Korean set meal near Uiwang Outlet
Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo Baegun Lake Branch (화덕으로간고등어 백운호수점) is at 148 Neungan-gil, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with parking, reservations, and a self-service bar available.

We went to Uiwang Outlet this time, and Mom and I were hungry, so we looked up a good restaurant around Baegun Lake! Uiwang Outlet is right by Baegun Lake, you know. Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo Baegun Lake Branch is only 500 m from Uiwang Outlet! So close, right?

Uiwang Outlet is having a sale right now, so it was packed haha. After looking around, we headed to a Baegun Lake restaurant. We both love Korean set meals, so we really love Korean food. This is a Korean set-meal restaurant with plenty of parking and a table absolutely full of food.

Ordering barley yellow corvina pot rice and grilled Spanish mackerel
We ordered barley yellow corvina pot rice for ₩29,000 and grilled Spanish mackerel for ₩19,000. The self-service bar at Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo, a Baegun Lake favorite, is really exceptionally well stocked, so anyone who enjoys a comforting, restorative meal will truly love it.

The plump grilled Spanish mackerel and barley yellow corvina arrivedㅠㅠ Wait, can barley yellow corvina really be this meaty?

A self-service bar with kimchi pancakes and wraps
And all the truly delicious side dishes. I mean, the self-service bar even has kimchi pancakes and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), plus mung bean sprouts—there is nothing missing at this Korean restaurant. ㅠㅠ It is seriously so my style...

There were leafy wraps, too, along with soybean paste like gangdoenjang (thick seasoned soybean paste), so it was perfect even for wrapping up plain rice. It felt light and super fresh. And did you know fish and wraps go surprisingly well together? Looking around, other tables were wrapping fish in the leaves too! The soybean paste itself was delicious, and it was even better because the rice came in a hot pot haha.

The japchae (stir-fried glass noodles) was good too, and that ponytail radish kimchiㅠㅠㅠ It was so refreshing and delicious. Such an addictive flavor—I went back for it twice moreㅠㅠ

Wood-fired grilled fish and nutty scorched rice
You cannot resist pot rice haha. Just thinking about having nurungji (scorched rice) with piping-hot pot rice already makes it taste nuttyㅠㅠㅎㅎ Korean food really is love. And because the fish is grilled in a wood-fired oven, the excess oil cooks out, so it is not overly rich—just nutty and wholesome haha.

I deboned that barley yellow corvina well, right? Hahaha. Since it had so much meat, it was easy to pick clean. So nutty. The green tea water they served alongside was incredibly rich and delicious too—it was a perfect match for the barley yellow corvina!

Every side dish was delicious and seasoned just right. Lots of people were having the braised mackerel too, and it comes in one earthenware pot per person! Oho. I am trying that next time!^~^♡♡♡♡

The super-nutty barley yellow corvina and grilled Spanish mackerel, with all those delicious supporting side dishes. Then pot rice to finish it all off! We had such a generous, healthy meal at this Baegun Lake restaurant. How about shopping at Uiwang Outlet near Baegun Lake, then having a delicious Korean set meal? It is great for taking your parents out, with a full table of truly excellent food!

Delicious nurungji time!! With barley yellow corvina and Spanish mackerel on the scorched rice, I did not need any other side dishㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ So nutty. The rice just went down so easily. My mom does not usually eat much rice, but she cleared a whole bowl that day... haha

I really picked that barley yellow corvina clean, right? Hehe.

Beyond fish, there are lots of choices, including spicy stir-fried pork, marinated raw crab, and braised mackerel, so I think you can choose whatever suits your taste. We love fish, so we got the Spanish mackerel and barley yellow corvina, but so many people were eating braised mackerel that next time we visit Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo, this Baegun Lake favorite, I am going to try it!!! One earthenware pot per person is just too good!.!

The green tea water was seriously delicious!!! It was so rich that it really got rid of the fishy smell. It went so well with the rice too, and the green tea water was wonderfully refreshing.

We ate so well until the very end!! I was happy because Mom loved it too. I found this Baegun Lake restaurant and brought her here. Hehehe, I did my filial duty. This was Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo right near Uiwang Outlet: a place that serves a truly delicious, table-filling meal that parents will really enjoy.
