Stroller-friendly Wirye café and Changgokcheon walk: Cafe The Venezia
In short
Cafe The Venezia is a brunch café in front of Wirye Lake Park in Songpa, Seoul. The writer visited around 2 p.m. on a weekday with a baby in a stroller and checked the wide seat spacing, high chairs, free underground parking (2 hours 30 minutes) and the walking route along Changgokcheon stream; the full terrace had a free table about an hour later. Cafe The Venezia is a good baby-friendly café in Wirye where the stroller fits beside the table and brunch pairs with a walk for a half-day outing.

Going out with a baby changes what I look for in a café. Coffee and brunch still matter, but I end up checking whether I can park the stroller comfortably, whether there's parking, and whether we can sit and relax with the baby, so it's all about convenience for the little one.
Cafe The Venezia, in front of Wirye Lake Park, is a big space that works well with kids, and it was lovely for a walk with a view of Changgokcheon stream too. Here's everything from the atmosphere at the time I visited to the menu and parking info.

- Hours: Daily 10:00–22:00

Can you keep a stroller next to your table at Cafe The Venezia?
The café is spacious and the tables are nicely spaced, so I could sit with the stroller unfolded right beside me. No worrying about getting in other guests' way!
When you go to a café with a baby, the thing you end up worrying about is where to put the stroller.

If tables are packed tight, it's hard to fit a stroller, and you fret about blocking other customers as they walk past, which is just uncomfortable. Cafe The Venezia in Wirye is large with generous gaps between seats, so keeping the stroller by the table was easy.

Not having to fold the stroller and stash it in a corner made sitting there with the baby much less stressful.

How busy is Cafe The Venezia on a weekday around 2 p.m.?
I went on a weekday around 2 p.m., just after lunchtime, and the café was about half full or less. No crowds, and I could pick whichever seat I wanted.

There are several types of seating, and high chairs are available too.

If you're a parent with a stroller, or you're looking for a baby-friendly café in Wirye where you can relax over coffee, this is a great fit.
What's on the brunch menu at Cafe The Venezia?
Besides drinks, there are meal-style options like club sandwiches, paninis and croissant brunch. The sandwiches and paninis are filling, so parents with kids can eat comfortably.
On days out with a baby, it's nice to get a proper meal sorted instead of just drinking coffee.

Brunch and coffee in one place is convenient, and you can choose by group size or appetite. Want something light? Pick a single item. Want a leisurely meal for two? Go for the brunch set for two!!
With a baby, sitting down for a long meal at a restaurant can feel like a lot, right?

Having coffee and brunch together at a café makes mealtime a bit more relaxed. When you visit with a baby, seating and flow matter as much as the food. Being able to sit in a big space with the stroller beside me helped while eating brunch. If you're looking for a Wirye brunch café where you can get coffee and a simple meal in one go, this is it!!
Location: pairing Cafe The Venezia with Wirye Lake Park and a Changgokcheon walk
Cafe The Venezia is near Wirye Lake Park, and the view opens toward Changgokcheon stream, so the scenery around it was nice too. If your child gets bored, you can head out for a walk right in front~
When you're out with a baby, it's better to add a walk nearby than to stay in the café the whole time.

Could we get a terrace table at Cafe The Venezia right away?
There are terrace seats too, which would be lovely for coffee with an outdoor view on a nice day. But at around 2 p.m. when I visited, the terrace was completely full. So we sat elsewhere first, and about an hour later a spot opened up and we moved to the terrace.

With a baby, I found that pushing the stroller for a walk around the area keeps them from getting bored, rather than staying in the café for ages! A light stroll around Changgokcheon followed by brunch at the café makes an easy half-day outing, totally ok!! If you want a stroller café in Wirye that's good for walks, looking at the café's location and the routes around it together is my tip for finding a place where you can stay comfortably!!
Parking and facilities at Cafe The Venezia
Instead of street parking, I could use the building's underground car park, with 2 hours 30 minutes of free parking. There are high chairs and a mirror photo zone, and a park restroom is right in front of the café.
When traveling by car with a baby, I always check whether parking is easy. There's a lot of stuff, and sometimes you have to carry the baby, so a roomy parking area is a relief.

When I visited, the car park looked spacious and I could park without any fuss. The parking time was 2 hours 30 minutes!!

There are high chairs too, handy if you need to sit the baby down,

and there's a little mirror zone that works like a photo spot, nice for souvenir pictures. Step out the front and the park restroom is right there, so going back and forth was easy. (I couldn't check whether there's a diaper-changing table or nursing room. T_T)

When choosing a café to visit with a baby, it's not just the menu and mood; practical things like parking, high chairs and restroom location matter too, right? Checking these facilities in advance should make getting ready to go out much easier.
