Is the Gwangan Bridge ocean view really that good?

My criteria for a Gwangalli brunch café were really clear. I wanted to enjoy the Gwangalli seaside view, a nice and stylish place with an ocean view, close to Gwangalli Beach,

and good value too. Working Holiday is the place I found while searching. The Gwangan Bridge view from the 7th floor was honestly the best. The sea and the bridge fill your sight in one sweep, so I was already happy with the atmosphere before the food even arrived.

Eating brunch while looking at Gwangan Bridge was a really special experience.

How to choose your bread and side with brunch dishes
According to the menu, three dishes (eggs Benedict, smashed avocado, jambon eggs Benedict) come with a choice of croissant or sourdough, and two (chicken avocado sandwich, ultimate chicken sandwich) come with a choice of soup or salad.
Salmon eggs Benedict on sourdough – ₩21,000
The menu describes it as a light-tasting salmon Benedict piled high with smoked salmon: sourdough or croissant, smoked salmon, tomato, avocado, arugula, poached egg, chives, mixed nuts, paprika powder, dill, mustard mayo sauce and hollandaise sauce.

I went with sourdough this time.
Trying it, the combo of sourdough with smoked salmon and poached egg was really clean and satisfying. The hollandaise was rich but not heavy, nicely balanced. It was filling and a solid meal.

Eating salmon eggs Benedict while looking at Gwangan Bridge was a truly special experience.
Chicken avocado sandwich with salad – ₩18,000
The menu describes a sandwich that balances juicy grilled chicken, avocado and herb mayo sauce: sourdough, grilled chicken breast, avocado, basil pesto, arugula, sun-dried tomato, herb mayonnaise, nuts, lemon and corn soup, with a choice of soup or salad. I chose the salad this time.
The grilled chicken was moist and went really well with the avocado. The herb mayo sauce wasn't heavy, but

the flavor was rich and satisfying. Eating it as a set with the salad made it even more filling and a good-value brunch.
Matcha tiramisu – free with the review event
I joined the review event and got a matcha tiramisu. It's a classic tiramisu with matcha added, and the combination of Valrhona cocoa powder and matcha was really impressive.
I was really glad I'd saved the review event. I'd suggest checking the review event details before you visit.
