Suwon restaurant for 4 friends: avocado kimchi fried rice at Low Five
In short
Low Five is a casual Western-style restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving pizza, pasta, lasagna and fried rice in one place. Four friends shared corn pizza, classic lasagna, Alfredo cream pasta and avocado kimchi fried rice, and the corn pizza was good enough from a previous visit to order again. Low Five is a solid pick for a group meal in Haenggung-dong where everyone shares dishes.

Is Low Five in Haenggung-dong a good spot for four friends?
Low Five (로우파이브) in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, is a casual restaurant serving pizza, pasta, lasagna and fried rice. Today I'm sharing a visit with three friends while wandering around Haenggung-dong. We hadn't seen each other in a while and wanted good food and a good chat, and the varied menu made Low Five an easy pick for a Haenggung-dong date spot. Every dish was so good that we ate until we were totally stuffed, haha. The corn pizza especially stood out, so I'd recommend this local Haenggung-dong place to anyone hunting for great pizza.
There are so many good restaurants in Haenggung-dong that picking one is a struggle, haha. With four of us, we chose Low Five because we could share lots of different dishes. It isn't stiff or formal, so it's easy to come with friends. It would also work for a date in Haenggung-dong with a partner. The menu is varied enough that everyone can order what they like. No fighting over food. Perfect!

Parking near Low Five: Seongyeong Library lot recommended
Low Five lists three nearby parking lots, and I used the Suwon Seongyeong Public Library (수원시립선경도서관) lot. Parking is always the big worry when visiting Haenggung-dong, haha. With all the alleys and visitors, every time I bring a car I stress about where to park.
- IPARK Museum of Art parking lot
- Jangan-dong public parking lot
- Suwon Seongyeong Public Library parking lot
Having been there, I personally felt the library lot is the closest one to Low Five. If you're visiting, I recommend checking the parking location before you set out!

What's the interior of Low Five like?
The moment I walked into Low Five, the vintage yet natural mood caught my eye. A brick counter, wood furniture, green plants and dried flowers here and there! Every bit of the decor felt charming, so just looking around was fun, haha. The plants and small props blend together so naturally that the place feels warm and comfortable.

4 dishes four friends ordered at Low Five
We ordered 4 dishes in total that day. With four of us, we went for a nice variety, haha.
- Corn pizza
- Classic lasagna
- Alfredo cream pasta
- Avocado kimchi fried rice

One pizza, one lasagna, one pasta, plus fried rice! As the dishes arrived one by one, the table looked seriously generous. I was especially glad we ordered pizza and pasta together, hehe.

Sharing several dishes feels like a buffet and is so much better than eating just one thing. Ordering only Western dishes can feel a bit lacking, but with a Korean-style kimchi fried rice too, the lineup is well rounded and just looking at it fills you up!

Plus a healthy avocado topping, hehe.

Is Low Five's corn pizza worth reordering?
The corn pizza is Low Five's signature dish. I'd had it last time and loved it, so we ordered it again with my friends. I also generally like corn. Its sweet, nutty flavor goes really well with pizza, and it has a different charm from an ordinary pizza. It's great for sharing slice by slice and pairs well with the other dishes.

The sweetness of the corn is so appealing that I kept reaching for another slice, haha. If you're looking for a great pizza place in Haenggung-dong, give Low Five's corn pizza a try.
Classic lasagna pairs well with the pizza
Next up is Low Five's classic lasagna. Lasagna has a different charm from pasta, doesn't it?

The layered lasagna with sauce and cheese had a rich flavor.

Every bite was soft, with the sauce matching nicely. It went especially well with the corn pizza, and I thought, next time I come to Haenggung-dong on a date with my husband, I'll order these two: pizza and lasagna!
Alfredo cream pasta: smooth and nutty
A must for anyone who loves cream pasta.

We ordered Low Five's Alfredo cream pasta too. It had that smooth, nutty flavor cream pasta is known for.

The cream sauce and noodles together were delicious. Eating the corn pizza and lasagna and then dipping into the cream pasta now and then let us enjoy a variety of flavors.
Avocado kimchi fried rice: does the unexpected combo work?
The last dish was Low Five's avocado kimchi fried rice! At first, avocado with kimchi fried rice (kimchi-bokkeumbap) seemed a bit strange to me. But once I tried it, it went together better than I expected.

The savory depth of kimchi fried rice plus the soft avocado felt like something fresh.

After only Western dishes like pizza, lasagna and cream pasta, the kimchi fried rice had its own appeal. I guess Koreans need at least one rice dish, haha. Thanks to it, we finished the meal tasty and full.

Low Five: a casual restaurant for friends or couples
I also liked that Low Five is a casual restaurant where you can enjoy lots of different foods together. It isn't too formal, so it's easy to eat and chat with friends. It's good for four friends like us, and I think it would also suit a Haenggung-dong date with a husband or partner, sharing pizza and pasta.

The varied menu lets everyone order to their taste, and the mood is great for a Haenggung-dong date. Above all, the food was all delicious, so it's a full pass from me. Chatting while we ate, time flew by. Haenggung-dong is fun whenever you visit.
If you want a tasty meal with friends in Haenggung-dong, definitely visit Low Five. For parking, the Seongyeong Library lot was close and convenient for me, but it may be full when visitors flood in, so keep that in mind! Good food plus chatting made it a stuffed and happy time. It's a perfect Haenggung-dong food-and-date course, and I think I'll be craving it again.
