Three Hanwoo burgers compared at Daily Fix, a Gangnam burger spot
In short
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a handmade burger restaurant styled as a modern diner on Nonhyeon-ro 85-gil in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, near Yeoksam Station. The writer ordered the bacon cheeseburger, classic burger and cheeseburger at once to compare patty flavor, with a side of thick-cut 18mm Fries. Verdict: choose the Daily Fix classic burger to taste the Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty itself, or the bacon cheeseburger for the richest savory flavor.

I've been on the hunt for a great burger in Gangnam, and this time I finally made it to Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch! It's famous enough as a burger spot that I'd been curious about it for a while — especially since YouTuber Jjyang and Davichi's Kang Min-kyung both raved about it. There's also talk that it placed second in the Korean Burger Championship, so it's been on my Gangnam burger bucket list, and I finally got the chance to visit.

The interior feels like a New York diner
Walking in, it didn't feel like a typical burger joint at all — more like an American diner! Daily Fix says it aims to be a modern diner bringing that New York diner feeling to Gangnam, Seoul, and I could tell — I came for the burgers but ended up enjoying the whole atmosphere too.

What I ordered, and the review event
Here's the menu board at Daily Fix, this Gangnam burger spot. I went with a bacon cheeseburger, a classic burger, and a cheeseburger!

Daily Fix, this Gangnam burger restaurant, is running a Naver save-and-review event right now. You get a free corn salad or coleslaw for participating, so definitely check it out!

Daily Fix Gangnam is also a giving-back restaurant that supports creating a warm world without disability barriers.

You can grab water and napkins yourself.

The burgers I ordered arrived!

A visual that could not possibly taste bad... Daily Fix, the Yeoksam Station burger spot!

How does the bacon cheeseburger taste?
The one I was most curious about was the bacon cheeseburger. It's the item Davichi's Kang Min-kyung raved about, so I really wanted to try it myself! On the first bite, what stood out most was the patty's rich, heavy flavor. The thick-grilled patty had a deep meaty taste, and with the nutty, salty cheese added on top, the whole burger felt pretty full-bodied! With the bacon on top of that, the umami really came alive.

Classic burger – the Hanwoo patty, unadorned
The classic burger let you enjoy the combination of ingredients in a clean, simple way. The patty — the fundamental core of any burger — was front and center, so if you want to taste the Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty itself, this is a solid choice. Burgers loaded with lots of toppings are delicious too, but with this basic combination, I felt like I could taste the patty even more clearly.

Cheeseburger – balance between cheese and patty
The cheeseburger also had a nutty, salty cheese flavor that paired well with the patty. The meaty richness of the patty combined with the smooth, deep flavor of the cheese made for a familiar yet satisfying combo. Personally, I sometimes find that cheese overpowers the other flavors in a burger, but at Daily Fix, the balance with the patty worked really well!

What kind of fries are the 18mm Fries?
The 18mm Fries I ordered alongside the burgers were a bit different from typical fries. I expected the usual thin, long fries you get at most burger joints, but true to the name, these had real thickness, and the texture was clearly different! Crispy on the outside with a fluffy, mealy potato texture on the inside, they were great to pop in between bites of burger. Compared to thin fries, this style lets you taste the potato itself a lot more, and it went really well with the burgers.

Lunch or dinner — when's the best time to go?
Another thing I liked about Daily Fix is that it's not just a grab-a-burger-and-go kind of place — it's good for enjoying the atmosphere too. It seems like a great lunch spot for Gangnam office workers looking for a quick meal, and apparently the lighting softens in the evening for a different mood. They also have whiskey, highballs, and cocktails on the menu, so an evening visit would feel quite different from a daytime one. If you're craving a burger near Yeoksam Station, or looking for a good burger restaurant in Gangnam, Daily Fix is worth a visit for the thick burgers and 18mm Fries.
