Japanese restaurant in Geumjeong, Busan: sushi set at Moshi Moshi

My mother and I went to Moshi Moshi PNU Branch (모시모시 부산대점) near Pusan National University for dinner. We had a set with sushi, albap (fish roe rice bowl), and udon, which made for a filling meal for two.

Where is Moshi Moshi PNU Branch, and is parking available?

The restaurant is on the first floor at 271-5 Geumgang-ro, Geumjeong-gu, Busan, South Korea, near Pusan National University. If you drive, you can receive one hour of free parking at a nearby underground parking lot.

At the time of the original post, it was listed as open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with last orders at 9:00 PM. There is a weekday break from 3:00 to 4:30 PM.

Is it suitable for dining with a group?

The interior felt clean and comfortable overall. There were more tables than I expected, so it was good for the two of us, and I thought it would also work for a visit with friends or a small gathering.

What came with the sushi set we ordered?

We ordered Set 1. It came with 16 pieces of sushi, albap, and one noodle dish; we chose udon.

When choosing the menu, we could select either a “good one” or a “better one” option. I felt the small price difference was worthwhile for tastier sushi, so I would recommend the “better one.” However, the original post did not record the exact set price or the difference between the options.

What side dishes are served?

Before our food arrived, vegetable salad and tofu salad were served first.

I especially liked the tofu salad. The dressing went well with the soft tofu, making it a good way to whet my appetite before the sushi. I also appreciated being told in advance that we could have more if needed.

How was the sushi, and was it enough for dinner?

With 16 pieces of sushi, albap, and udon, it was more substantial than I expected.

The sushi ingredients tasted fresh, and the seasoning of the rice went well with them. I was satisfied as I ate each piece, and having the albap and udon alongside it made the meal more filling than sushi alone.

It was enough for one dinner with my mother. The tables were spacious too, and I would like to return next time with my boyfriend.
