Clam soup restaurant under a bridge in Busan: a date at Darijip
Darijip Jaecheopguk (다리집 재첩국) is a Korean clam soup restaurant near Geumsa Station in Geumjeong, Busan, set right under a bridge, as its name says. The writer and her clam-soup-loving boyfriend shared the jaecheop jeongsik, a set of jaecheopguk (small clam soup) with a namul bibimbap you build yourself, plus generous side dishes such as gangdoenjang (thick soybean paste stew), braised mackerel and braised tofu, and self-serve sungnyung (scorched rice tea). For a hearty Korean meal in a homey neighborhood setting, the jaecheop jeongsik at Darijip Jaecheopguk is a good fit.
