Hey everyone! When you're picking a spot for a work dinner, a reunion with old classmates, or a family meal out, what do you consider first? I'd guess it comes down to three things: is there a roomy, private group room, is there enough parking so you can drive in comfortably, and — most importantly — is the meat actually good enough that you'd confidently recommend it to anyone.
A place that nails all three of these tricky requirements is Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch (당산오돌 방이점) in Bangi-dong. It's been recognized not just by TV shows like Suyo Misikhoe (수요미식회) but by countless food lovers too, haha.
Is there parking at Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch?
Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch has a wide parking area right in front of the restaurant. Finding parking near the busy Bangi-dong food alley is normally like finding a needle in a haystack.

If you've ever organized a company dinner or a big group gathering, you know exactly how important it is to find a room that fits everyone and to be free from parking stress!
Even for group gatherings or company dinners where multiple cars show up, you can visit without any parking stress. For anyone driving, this place is basically an oasis. A Bangi Station restaurant worth knowing!
Private group rooms for company dinners

The interior of Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch is much roomier and more pleasant than it looks from outside, with rooms sized for various group sizes. You can enjoy a cozy, comfortable meal with your own party without disrupting the company-dinner atmosphere — a satisfying Bangi Station restaurant on every count.

What meats does Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch serve?

Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch offers top-quality beef, lamb, pork, and even spicy chicken feet — a diverse lineup that appeals to everyone. And with pork, they don't stop at the usual cuts; there are 4 carefully selected special cuts too, haha.
Kkodeulsal: only 400g from one pig

Kkodeulsal is the dish that put Dangsan Odol on the national food map after appearing on Suyo Misikhoe, and it's the legendary order that basically every table at this restaurant gets. It's a prized neck-back cut that yields only about 400g per pig.
If kkodeulsal is the poster child for chewiness, the aged mango pork neck and the premium-grade snowflake galbi we also ordered are the total opposite — the ultimate in tenderness!
Aged mango pork neck, plain and marinated

True to its name, mango pork neck is scored deep and dense in a mango-shaped pattern, which grabs your attention visually from the start. It's aged to maximize tenderness, and the charcoal aroma and juices soak evenly into the cuts through the scoring, giving it a distinct moistness. It comes in two versions: 'plain pork neck,' which lets you taste the clean, savory flavor fully, and 'marinated pork neck,' seasoned with a savory sauce!

The thick-cut meats are grilled over charcoal at maximum heat. The key is searing the outside crisp over high heat to lock in the juices. The moment you dip the finished meat in the special myeolchijeot (salted anchovy sauce) and take a bite, you get exactly what the name promises — a kkodeul-kkodeul chewy texture, a burst of rich juice, and a clean flavor that grows with every chew. I was genuinely impressed.
How the grilled pork tastes
It's tender and not tough at all, easy to chew, so I'd especially recommend it for family meals with kids.
Anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of meats — from chewy kkodeulsal to tender mango pork neck to melt-in-your-mouth snowflake galbi — will love this place.
Grilling it over charcoal doubles the flavor.
Spicy tteollaegi stew after the meat
Tteollaegi is a local comfort dish made by simmering suzebi (hand-torn dough) or noodles with various vegetables and shrimp in a spicy, savory broth.
It's named 'tteollaegi' — a playful name that roughly means 'shake everything in' — because all sorts of ingredients get tossed in and boiled together, and true to that name, the pot arrives generously packed full.

Loaded with dried shrimp, the broth has a deep, refreshing savoriness that's fantastic. After eating rich, charcoal-grilled meat, the spicy, hot broth cleans your palate completely — a wonderfully balanced way to end the meal.
If you're looking for the perfect gathering spot and meat you won't regret, I'd strongly recommend choosing Dangsan Odol Bangi Branch for your next get-together, no question.
