That day, we ordered three dishes: the wheat bread plate, seasonal campagne French toast, and avocado shrimp salad. Since I was with my parents, I chose three substantial dishes. Overall, the menu felt thoughtfully put together with wholesome ingredients.

Wheat bread plate

It came with a house-made morning bun, 100% rye bread, aged Gouda, Havarti, house-made jam and butter, and eggs. With such a varied selection, it was a brunch dish you could enjoy in a wholesome way.

Components of the wheat bread plate

Even my dad, who is in his seventies, enjoyed it deliciously with the house-made jam and butter spread on the bread, topped with cheese.

The antibiotic-free eggs arrived cooked to a perfectly pretty soft yolk. I liked it even more because the jam and butter were house-made and new to me.

Seeing that it suited my parents’ tastes, I could tell that the brunch here was not overly seasoned.

Seasonal campagne French toast

Two thick pieces arrived. The outside was crisp and sweet to bite into, while the inside was fluffy and soft. There were pieces of sweet kabocha squash throughout, making it feel even more wholesome. If you visit, I definitely recommend ordering this one.

Avocado shrimp salad

It had generously sized garlic shrimp and avocado along with greens. It was a refreshing salad to eat with the bread.

Paired with a hot Americano, it was just the right meal to enjoy with my parents on a beautiful day.

All three dishes were mild, so I felt comfortably full without feeling heavy afterward.
