Songdo outlet ice cream café: hojicha & twist mix cup set, Wunder
In short
Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a coffee and ice cream café near the food square on basement level 1 of Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo (nicknamed Songhyuna) in Incheon. During a shopping trip, the writer ordered the ice cream + ice cream set (12,500 won) as two cups, hojicha and twist mix, with an iced americano. The hojicha ice cream tasted nuttier and more roasty than green tea, and the americano was clean with no acidity. If you like green tea ice cream, Wunder Coffee Bar's hojicha ice cream is worth a try.

While shopping at the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo, I wanted a cold americano, so I stopped by Wunder Coffee Bar (분더커피바)!

Where is Wunder Coffee Bar in Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo?
Wunder Coffee Bar is on basement level 1 of the Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch, near the food square! It is open daily 10:30–21:00.
It's a handy spot when you suddenly crave dessert or coffee mid-shopping, so if you're visiting the outlet, you might want to drop in too.

This café has a food hygiene grade of 'Excellent' (매우우수), so I felt a little more at ease using it.

10% off with a same-day receipt during my visit
When I visited, there was an event from October 2 to October 18 giving 10% off for same-day purchases. It applies only with a same-day receipt, so if you're visiting the Songdo outlet during that period, keep it in mind.
Wunder Coffee Bar menu and ordering the ice cream set

I ordered the ice cream + ice cream set for ₩12,500. I was really craving ice cream that day, so I got it with an iced americano. You can choose a cup or a cone, and you can pick the flavors too.

The flavors were hojicha (roasted green tea), classic vanilla, and twist mix. After some agonizing, I went with hojicha and twist mix! And I picked a cup because I hate worrying about ice cream dripping!
What does Wunder Coffee Bar's hojicha ice cream taste like?

The one I was most curious about was the hojicha ice cream! The menu description says, 'The nutty aroma and soft taste of deeply roasted hojicha, Wunder's signature ice cream.' Having tried it, it has a different charm from ordinary green tea ice cream!

Ta-da! Minky's order has arrived💙

On the left is the hojicha Minky had been looking forward to, and on the right is the twist mix (classic vanilla + hojicha).

First, the hojicha ice cream!💚 It looked so tempting that I took a bite the moment it came out, haha

Wunder Coffee Bar's hojicha ice cream hits you first with the nutty, toasty flavor of roasted tea rather than the bitter, grassy feel typical of green tea. The hojicha aroma rises gently, and the ice cream itself is smooth and sweet, so it isn't overwhelming.
If you like green tea ice cream, give hojicha a try! It's similar to green tea but clearly heads in a different direction, and to me the hojicha tasted even nuttier.

Twist mix: hojicha and vanilla in one cup
The twist mix I chose blends hojicha and classic vanilla, so I got to enjoy both flavors at once! The classic vanilla was the familiar taste💛 like soft, sweet milk ice cream, and it went well with the nutty hojicha!
Hojicha alone has a slightly stronger tea flavor, but with vanilla mixed in it feels smoother and sweeter! 👀 So if you can't bear to choose just one flavor, the twist mix seems like a good option ❤️

Is Wunder Coffee Bar's iced americano acidic?
Wunder Coffee Bar's iced americano wasn't a strongly sour style; it tasted nutty and clean. I thought the ice cream alone would be too sweet, so I ordered it alongside, and since I prefer a nutty americano to a sour coffee, it paired nicely with the ice cream.

The cup was a bit unusual, though. Instead of the clear plastic cup most cafés use for iced drinks, it looked like a paper cup wrapped in a layer of plastic. I guess it's done this way instead of using a sleeve, so your hand doesn't get too cold, haha
A bite of ice cream, then a sip of americano, and the sweetness was kept in check just right. I was glad I ordered them together 🩵

Wunder Coffee Bar is a good Songdo café to stop at when you want a short break from shopping with sweet ice cream or a cup of coffee! If you like ice cream with a nutty, toasty flavor that's a little different from green tea, I'd recommend the hojicha ice cream💚
If you're torn between two flavors like me, you could order hojicha + twist mix and enjoy a variety of tastes. Next time a sweet dessert craving hits while you're shopping at the Hyundai Premium Outlet in Songdo, drop by :)
