Tiny Dot, a big roastery café in Juan ☕️
Tiny Dot in Juan: a spur-of-the-moment visit with my mom
Tiny Dot is a big roastery café in Juan, Michuhol-gu, Incheon. My mom had been resting at home, so we made a quick trip out together. I'd been stuck at home too, so the change of scenery felt great. 🧡

Is Tiny Dot easy to get around when you're pregnant?
Yes, Tiny Dot has an elevator, so moving between floors is easy when you're pregnant. After parking, as we headed in, I saw a sign saying every drink is ₩1,000 off for TAKE OUT. Takeout customers will love that. I'd worried about how I'd get up the floors while pregnant, but there was no need. Tiny Dot has an elevator ready!

As a roastery café, you get the flavor of fresh beans, and the bakery items like salt bread and cheesecake are excellent too. 🤤

What we ordered at Tiny Dot and how much it cost
We ordered a decaf iced americano (₩4,500), lemonade (₩6,500) and Basque cheesecake (₩6,500). (Part of this was paid out of my own pocket.) I can finally have an iced americano again, even if it's decaf. I'm so excited!!

Tiny Dot presses its own sesame and perilla oil and turns them into creams for its drinks: Sesame Dot (Chamkkae Dot) and Perilla Dot (Deulkkae Dot). I've never seen menu items made with sesame oil and perilla oil before. Lattes are hard for me right now, so I'll try them next time. Tiny Dot is trying something new.

Tiny Dot's 1st-floor ordering counter and millstone matcha
The 1st floor of Tiny Dot is where you order. 🐥 Each floor has a different mood, and special items like hand drip coffee and millstone matcha latte are a big draw.
A millstone was turning right by the ordering counter. The owner said they grind the matcha themselves to make the matcha latte. (They seemed really proud of it.) I think this is the first café I've seen that grinds matcha with a millstone. 🤩

Tiny Dot floor by floor: seating on 2F and 3F, reserved 4F
Tiny Dot has four floors in total. Guests can stay on the 2nd and 3rd floors, while the 4th floor is reserved seating only for people who booked.

With an elevator, it's a good place to visit with expecting mothers, family and friends.

2F: a modern, airy space
Inside, Tiny Dot is pleasant and cool. 💙 The 2nd floor has a modern feel, and that's where we sat.

3F: a botanical-garden feel
The 3rd floor is different from the 2nd, yet similar. Plants are placed on every floor, so it felt like an ecological botanical garden, and my mom especially loved it. 🧑🦱

4F: reserved seating for groups and gatherings
The 4th floor of Tiny Dot is only for guests with reservations. For groups, if you contact them in advance they prepare a private space. Seminars, family gatherings and social meetups are apparently possible. It's a café you can hold a gathering in.

Can you buy coffee beans at Tiny Dot?
Tiny Dot also runs a coffee-making factory and roasts every day, they say. So you can find many kinds of fresh beans, and buy top-quality beans too.

How the decaf iced americano, lemonade and Basque cheesecake tasted
Tiny Dot's lemonade is made fresh with real fruit. The decaf iced americano, my first in a long while, was really refreshing and tasty. The Basque cheesecake had a fluffy texture and was delicious. (I think I finished it in 10 minutes. If I didn't have gestational diabetes, I'd have ordered a whole other one.)

❤️ I tried to eat it as slowly as possible, but no way 🧡 The soft Basque cheesecake vanishes in a blink.

There's a mirror on the 2nd floor of Tiny Dot, and I took a photo with my mom. I'm glad Tiny Dot gave us such a good time together. Next time I'll visit with my husband.
