Today I'm introducing 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, a Seoul Forest café where the soufflé is genuinely delicious — if you're hunting for a dessert spot, or if you're a bread-lover, you have to go!!! And it's not just about the taste — the vibe is seriously good, and there are even terrace seats perfect for this kind of weather~ 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a great stop after a Seoul Forest walk or a Seongsu date. 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is located at 44-13 Seoulsup2-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and it's open 12:00–21:00 (last order 20:30). It's close to Seoul Forest, so it's a great stop before or after a walk there.

5to7 Seongsu Main Branch has no dedicated parking, so you'll need to park nearby. The Seoul Forest public parking lot and the Seongdong-gu Complex Center parking lot are both very close, so it's easy to park and walk over. Since it's public parking, the rates are cheap too!

The entrance to 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is on the 2nd floor, so you have to climb stairs to reach the spacious shop. At first I was like, wait, where even is this place?! haha, turns out the entrance is up on the 2nd floor!

The 2nd floor, where you order and pay, also has a restroom, indoor seating, and outdoor terrace seats, and if you take the outdoor stairs up to the 3rd floor, there's even more indoor seating, a unisex restroom, and outdoor terrace seats — great for a relaxed tea time.

This is the 2nd floor shop (ground floor by the shop's own numbering), where big windows let you see lush trees and a cozy neighborhood feel.

5to7 Seongsu Main Branch blends wood, rattan, and plants throughout, giving off a fresh yet exotic feel!

This is the outdoor terrace you find by opening the door next to the 2nd floor counter. Every single spot in this place has pretty interior and great atmosphere — perfect for anyone hunting an Instagram-vibe café, right?

There are photo spots everywhere, plus lots of mirrors haha, so I took like a hundred selfies myself, snapping plenty of dreamy shots both by the window seats and out on the terrace haha.

The 3rd floor (by the shop's own numbering, the 2nd floor) — which was actually the 3rd flight of stairs I climbed — is more spacious and can easily handle groups, so a lot of nearby office workers stopped by after lunch!

The soufflé pancakes at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch are made fresh the moment you order and come out warm, taking about 15 to 20 minutes. The soufflé pancake is probably the biggest reason people visit this Seoul Forest café, right? haha. It's more than a simple dessert — almost closer to a cooked dish. The fluffy texture and flavor are on a totally different level from pre-made cakes, so even as a slow food, it was well worth the wait.

There's a wide variety of soufflé pancakes too, and the lineup seems to change a bit by season. Right now, in the autumn season, there were 5 kinds: fig soufflé, mangosteen soufflé, tiramisu, matcha, and pearl crème brûlée soufflé.

I usually love matcha, fig, mangosteen, and tiramisu all equally, so it was tough to pick.. but since I visited with my child, I went with the pearl crème brûlée, since it's kid-friendly. It was a fantastic pairing with the americano!! Totally recommend!!!

The drink menu had coffee, tea, and ades. For coffee, you could choose between dutch americano and moka pot americano, which was appealing, and you could switch to decaf too — great for anyone sensitive to caffeine or who wants coffee late in the day.

How was the pearl crème brûlée soufflé to share with a child?

The pearl crème brûlée soufflé at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch comes as two thick soufflé pancakes topped with cream, crisp brûlée, and chewy tapioca pearls — plenty in both portion and taste to share with a kid. When the soufflé arrived on a tray, the way it jiggled and wobbled was exactly my type haha.

The generously drizzled soft cream and the crackly texture of the caramelized sugar-coated brûlée surface worked so well together — such a delicious soufflé pancake ㅠㅠㅠ

The bread itself was really moist, soft, and fluffy! With two good-thickness soufflé pancakes stacked on top, the portion was generous~ And paired with the chewy, springy tapioca pearls, it was a perfect 100 points as a dessert!! A menu right up the alley of a kid who loves jelly~

It was so good that I wanted to try a different soufflé pancake next time at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch. Since the seasonal fruit menu changes, I'll have to aim for the fresh fruit, strawberry season next time haha.

The passionfruit ade my child picked was refreshingly sweet-tart with a fun popping texture and a perfect look too, and the coffee was delicious as well — an overall satisfying place ✔️
