It's delicious as delivery too, so I was curious what the store itself would feel like — turns out the vibe was better than I expected. But here's the one thing I discovered…

I've seen the burger-and-beer combo before, but visiting in person, it fit together surprisingly well, with a vibe set up for actually having a drink. Turns out Bas Burger, which I only ever ate for company lunches, is a craft burger spot you can enjoy with beer in the evening! I had no idea a place like this was near my house, so today I'll share my visit review.

What is Bas Burger in Gyeyang, Incheon like inside?

Bas Burger Incheon Gyeyang District Office Branch is the perfect craft burger spot for a simple meal with a friend near the district office, or for a beer. Even the exterior gives off a feel like it could be somewhere overseas 🍔 Personally it reminded me a little of old-school Outback Steakhouse haha. Overall it has an upscale feel without being too stuffy or formal, so it felt like a comfortable place to visit and eat with a friend.

And this Gyeyang District Office restaurant lets you use both the 1st and 2nd floors. The 1st floor operates as the Bas Burger store, and the 2nd floor is shared with Angel-in-us Coffee, so you can handle a meal and coffee all in one stop!

Order a set menu or fried items and you get most sauces free!! There's a wide variety, so you can pick and dip based on your taste. Though the Cheongyang pepper sauce and truffle mayo sauce are paid, apparently! If you're like me and love dipping fries or fried items in sauce, this Gyeyang District Office Station restaurant will satisfy you a lot haha.

2. Free refills of James Gam potato chips

And this is genuinely legendary 😍… Bas Burger's kicker is the chips!!!! The self-serve bar in the store had a ton of James Gam potato chips stocked. These chips cost an extra ₩2,500 if you order delivery, but they're free when you dine in?! Wait, is this actually real,,,? 🩶🤍

You can grab as much as you want from the self-serve bar, so it's great to nibble like a snack while waiting for your burger — too good a deal to pass up haha. With service like this thrown in, I get why people keep coming back to Bas Burger.

Plus they sell beer, so it's the perfect combo — burger, free chips, and a beer on the side. Some people might think craft burgers feel a bit pricey, but with service this generous… boss, what's even left for you?!!!!! The taste is great, but these little touches of service feel like another charm of Bas Burger haha.

• Weizen (ABV 5.0%) — a wheat beer balancing classic weizen flavor and acidity
• Cheongjin-dong (ABV 6.3%) — an IPA marked by hop aroma, a heavy body, and balanced bitterness
• Gwanghwamun (ABV 7.5%) — a premium stout blending vanilla aroma with rich dark chocolate flavor

That's the range they had ready! I especially liked that there's a lager, wheat beer, IPA, and stout, so you can pick based on your taste. I didn't drink that day, but looking at the menu, I thought a beer with a burger would be really good haha.

Mushroom burger and wasabi mayo shrimp burger with sweet potato fries

I ordered my favorite Bas Burger menu items, the mushroom burger and the wasabi mayo shrimp burger! When I usually order delivery, I get it with James Gam chips, but since the chips were free in-store, this time I swapped for sweet potato fries instead?! And turns out these were also really good…? ㅠㅠ The sweet flavor unique to sweet potato paired surprisingly well with the burger haha.

Honestly the more I ate, the more this place became totally my style — new favorite craft burger place 😻🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻 And my boyfriend tried Bas Burger for the first time, and he loved it right away, so I felt proud haha 👩🏽‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻💕

Look at that color!!! Craft burgers taste great, but the visual appeal is fun too, right?! From the patty to the toppings, everything is packed in generously so the burger looks really pretty ❤︎ ㅡ ❤︎ It doesn't feel like a chain burger at all, and looking at it you can tell it's a properly made craft burger, which I liked even more 😻💕

Both the shrimp burger and mushroom burger had great texture with every bite. First, the wasabi mayo shrimp burger has a subtle wasabi aroma rising up, and the sharp kick isn't overdone, which made it just right. If you like wasabi, I'd totally recommend this one!

And my favorite, the mushroom burger, has thick mushrooms packed in, so the texture is great from the first bite. The sautéed onions inside pair really well with the mushrooms too, and the flavor builds the more you chew.

And Bas Burger's burgers are tasty on their own, but drizzling on the various complimentary sauces is fun too haha. Dipping the burger in a bit of sauce gives it a different flavor, so I'd recommend mixing and matching! 😻🫰🏻

Bas Burger Incheon Gyeyang District Office Branch has tasty burgers, but the atmosphere of eating in-store, the service, and the sides all add up to make it feel like a properly full meal! Especially on days you're craving a burger near Gyeyang District Office, this is the place that'll come to mind. Great for a light solo meal, and also perfect for a date to eat something good, like I did.

My boyfriend tried Bas Burger for the first time and said it was delicious, so we both left satisfied haha. I'm already 200% planning to come back, and next time I want to try other menu items too!
