What kind of Marine City bakery is Zoblack?

Zoblack is a salt bread specialty bakery café in the Marine City Xi shopping arcade in Haeundae. It has parking support, so I parked easily and came to buy bread. There are so many kinds of salt bread that choosing was half the fun, with lots of sweet-and-salty options.

Zoblack opening hours and fresh bread times

Zoblack is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. The opening time changed from 12:00 to 10:00. It's right on the main road so it's easy to find, and the times when bread comes out are kindly posted at the entrance, so you can check before you go in.

What drinks does Zoblack serve?

Zoblack has a wide range, from coffee to tea drinks. There were also set menus that come with a madeleine or a salt bread.

How many kinds of salt bread does Zoblack have?

Zoblack's salt breads come in lots of varieties, like churros, chocolate, basil tomato, chewy rice cake (chapssal-tteok) and almond. The plain salt bread gets much cheaper per piece if you buy 4 instead of 1.

There are also squid ink truffle, jambon-beurre (ham and butter), scallion cream cheese and cream, plus Dubai, anbutter (red bean paste and butter), hotteok (sweet filled pancake) and pollock roe salt breads.

Does Zoblack have desserts besides salt bread?

Zoblack also has Earl Grey cheesecake and vanilla bean cheesecake.

There are matcha and Earl Grey tigres (tiger-striped chocolate financiers) and tiger cookies too.

They had lemon madeleines too. The other desserts all looked great, so I just picked up one Earl Grey tigre : )

Is gift box packaging for salt bread free at Zoblack?

I loved that Zoblack does gift box packaging for free. For saying thanks to people around you, or showing your appreciation without making it a big deal, a boxed gift like this seems perfect.

Can you eat in at Zoblack?

The inside of Zoblack is cool and pleasant too, so sitting down for a quick cup of coffee looks like a good idea.

Are Zoblack's jambon-beurre and red bean butter salt breads well filled?

The jambon-beurre salt bread is packed with ham, so you can see they don't skimp on ingredients. They even tucked in two big slices of butter, wow,,,,, And what I also love is the amount of salt ♥ Lots of places sprinkle only a tiny bit, but Zoblack sprinkles it on generously.

The anbutter salt bread is loaded with butter too, and the matcha tigre was so pretty I wanted to buy it.

Where to park for Zoblack in Marine City

If you use the B1 car park of the Xi arcade building where Zoblack is, you get 1 hour of free parking! You must park on B1.

Boxed pollock roe salt bread from Zoblack, warmed up at home

Thanks to Zoblack's box packaging, everything came home neat and undisturbed. I personally like plain and salty more than too sweet, so I picked mostly those, and now I'm craving something sweet, of course,,, haha

The pollock roe salt bread is topped with seaweed flakes and is so glossy that I couldn't wait to try it. First I'll warm it up a little in the air fryer.

Can you feel how crispy the bottom is? The butter aroma is wafting up~~ and the salt grains are nicely spread evenly. Also, since Zoblack bakes its own bread, if you go at the bread times you can get it warm and fresh out of the oven!!!! Most customers get takeout, and you can feel how much care they put into packaging. Neat box packaging!

Loads of pollock roe cream, the charm of sweet and salty, butter aroma and a crispy texture. I want to eat all 5 at once, but I'll save them and have one at a time haha. Plain yet savory with real depth, these were the breads of Zoblack café that I loved.

What does Zoblack's Earl Grey tigre taste like?

Zoblack's Earl Grey tigre had chocolate and Earl Grey flavor coming through inside, so I think it would go well with tea or an Americano : )

Friendly, pleasant atmosphere inside, a wide variety of breads, drinks and coffee, and even parking support: that was Zoblack, the Marine City café.
