What kind of Seomyeon Korean BBQ restaurant is Anmin Busan?
Anmin Busan is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Seomyeon, Busan, where you get an upscale atmosphere and tasty pork together. You can try several special pork cuts on one platter, and the staff even grill the meat for you, so it was a really comfortable place to eat! I'll walk you through the interior, the menu and the raw special pork platter we grilled up ꯁ.̮ꯁ Okay, let's start the yummy record!
Getting to Anmin Busan and parking
Anmin Busan is about 272m from Exit 12 of Seomyeon Station, and for parking you need to use a nearby paid lot.

It's close to Seomyeon Station, so it's easy to reach by public transport too ♡。·˚˚· ·˚˚·。♡

It sits where the Seomyeon downtown area meets the stylish vibe of Jeonpo, so it looks like a great stop after shopping or a date nearby :)

The first thing I noticed as soon as we walked in was how upscale and pleasant it felt 🩶
How does waiting work at Anmin Busan?
There's a Catch Table waiting system at the entrance of Anmin Busan. There are also seats for waiting guests by the entrance, so people in line don't have to stand and can wait comfortably :)
"Anmin Busan" has a classier feel, a little different from your usual BBQ place.
Anmin Busan seating: tables, bar and private rooms
The inside is comfortable yet refined, so it suits a date and also looks good for a group get-together!

Besides regular tables, there are bar seats and private rooms too, so you can pick what suits your visit, which I liked :)
I especially recommend it for company dinners or gatherings with a bigger group!

Here's the Anmin Busan menu.

A staff member guided us to a seat at the bar table :) Not only regular tables but bar tables are available, so you can choose a seat to your taste.

Before the meat arrived, we checked out the side dishes that were set out first! They're neatly prepared and go well with the meat. Eating a variety of sides alongside makes the meat taste even richer than eating it alone, right? :)
Special pork platter: price and what's in it
What we ordered at Anmin Busan was the raw special pork platter (360g), priced at ₩41,000.

The raw special pork platter packs many special pork cuts onto one plate, from scallion gabrisal (pork neck-side cut) to whole gabrisal and nakyeopsal, which has a wonderfully deep texture • • • :)
First, they use the meat's own fat to coat the grill evenly. With that oiling done, we're ready to start grilling for real!

Does Anmin Busan grill the meat for you?
Yes, one of Anmin Busan's strengths is the grilling service where the staff grill the meat for you. They started putting the meat on the charcoal brazier.
From placing the meat on the grill to cooking it just right, they took care of every step :) Sitting at the bar table, we could watch the staff grill up close, which made it even more relaxing.

Grilled meat moves to a mini brazier
After grilling everything, the staff moved the meat onto a mini brazier. Grilled meat can cool down fast while you eat, but with it sitting on the mini brazier it stayed warm through the whole meal, which was really nice!

Ta-da~~~~! Special cuts have a different charm from the pork belly or pork neck you eat all the time. Each cut has its own texture and flavor, so it's great to taste so many kinds evenly :)

You get scallion gabrisal, whole gabrisal and nakyeopsal all at once, so I really recommend it if you usually love special cuts!

Anmin Busan receipt review event: pork skin
At Anmin Busan, a receipt review event also got us a taster portion of pork skin (kkeopdegi).

Pork skin has that distinctively chewy texture, a treat all its own compared with the meat, right? :) We got to try an extra item through the review event on top of the main menu, so it felt even more worthwhile.

In one line
Anmin Busan, a Seomyeon, Busan BBQ spot where you can eat warm to the very end thanks to the staff grilling and the mini brazier in an upscale, private atmosphere. Highly recommended :)
