Seongsu gyukatsu restaurant with private mini grills: Gyuen Dang
Gyuen Dang Seongsu Main Branch is a gyukatsu (Japanese beef cutlet) restaurant on the second floor of an alley off Yeonmujang 7-ga-gil in Seongsu, Seoul. For lunch the writer ordered the tenderloin gyukatsu at 24,000 won and the hamburg omelet rice at 17,000 won, grilled the cutlet with a pat of butter on the private mini charcoal grill at the table, and dipped it in ginger sauce so it never tasted heavy. With a grill for each diner, Gyuen Dang Seongsu Main Branch suits a lunch date and solo dining equally well.
