Jamsil Station burger spot: no-wait Philly cheesesteak, Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is an American-style handmade burger restaurant on basement level 1 of Building B in Jangmi Sangga, Jamsil, near Jamsil Station in Songpa, Seoul. On a weekday lunch there was no wait, and a bacon cheeseburger set and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich set ordered by table QR code both satisfied, with a Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty, house-smoked bacon and chewy bread on the Philly cheesesteak. Daily Fix is a good pick near Jamsil Station when you want a different kind of handmade burger for lunch.

What is Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga in Jamsil like?
Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga (데일리픽스 장미상가) is a handmade burger spot on B1 of Building B in Jamsil's Jangmi Sangga, where you can enjoy a burger American-style. A burger place near Jamsil Station 🍔 I love burgers, so I'd wanted to go here for a while. Let me introduce Daily Fix!

What's the atmosphere at Daily Fix?
The shop blends into the retro vibe that Jangmi Sangga is known for, which gives it a fresh feel. Honestly, at first I was amazed that there are such hip shops inside Jangmi Sangga. It's fine for eating alone, and also a good place to enjoy handmade burgers with a friend or partner.

Is there a wait at weekday lunch?
I went at weekday lunchtime and got a seat right away with no wait. The inside is quite spacious with lots of seating, which is a plus. Many customers do takeout or delivery, so not having to wait was another plus. If you work near Jamsil and crave a handmade burger, it's a good lunch spot 👍

How do you order, and what are the set menus?
You order from the QR code on the table. Ordering is so simple these days, which is really convenient. We ordered the two items below. I didn't know before, but ordering on site showed there are set menus too, so we got sets.
- Bacon cheeseburger set (18mm fries + drink)
- Philly cheesesteak sandwich set (18mm fries + drink)

How was the bacon cheeseburger?
The bacon cheeseburger, which I ordered, pairs house-smoked and grilled handmade bacon with a 100% Hanwoo (Korean beef) patty. It's apparently famous as a dish a celebrity raved about. It's plump and looks so appetizing. The combo of homemade bacon and a Hanwoo patty is just blissful. I understood right away why it got the praise.
When it comes to burgers, you can't skip the patty and cheese combo. Add bacon and it gets even more filling. Anyone who loves handmade burgers will want to try it at least once. It's the best for a reason, haha.

How is the Philly cheesesteak sandwich different from the burger?
The other item, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, tastes different from a regular burger. They say it's an authentic East Coast sandwich. Kind of like eating a taco? 🌮 It's generously filled with meat, a bit like bulgogi, and I liked the faint peppery spice aroma.
It has its own charm apart from the burger, so we ordered it too, haha, and it was better than expected! The meat and cheese go well together, so it's a good pick when you want a different style of meal from a burger. My friend loved that the bread is super chewy, unlike a regular burger bun. Ordering both means you can pick whichever suits your taste 😀😄

What are 18mm fries, and how big is the set drink?
The Daily Fix set comes with 18mm fries and a drink, and I chose Coke Zero. There was a huge amount of cola, which I loved. I'm a total soda addict, so it was a very satisfying amount. (The photo was taken after I'd already drunk some.)
I wondered what "18mm fries" meant, and it turns out the plump potatoes are cut 18mm thick, hence the name, haha. The thickness fills your mouth, and I was really happy with that, haha.

Who is Daily Fix recommended for?
If you want a different kind of handmade burger in Jamsil, Daily Fix is worth a visit! If you're stuck on lunch ideas at Jangmi Sangga, or want a handmade burger unlike the usual, it's worth stopping by, haha.
