Nowon sushi buffet weekend 11am reserved opening rush: Kuu Kuu

Hello~ Last weekend I did an opening rush at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch for brunch! I booked the 11am slot in advance through Naver and headed over.

Location and parking at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch

Address: 6F, Seoul Oncheon Building, 247 Nowon-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul

Parking is available (a bit tight. 2 hours free, and if full you'll need a paid lot nearby. Every Saturday, if the building lot is full you can also park at Hagye Techno Town, 4 hours free!)

The underground lot was full, but luckily there was one spot left above ground so I parked easily haha. It was 11am.

Take the elevator up to the 6th floor and Kuu Kuu is right there. The place is very spacious and comfortable. Since there's always a wait here, they have a tablet for registering your wait and a proper waiting zone, so you can wait comfortably.

Spacious, comfortable interior with a playroom and group rooms

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is genuinely huge. Really huge. Tables range from 4-person tables to group seating, and there are group rooms for all kinds of parties, making it a great spot for family gatherings or work dinners. Having a kids' playroom in particular made it great to visit with children.

From sushi to dessert, a wide range of menus

From salad and sushi to cold dishes, pasta and pizza, seafood stews, Chinese food and more — a really wide variety is prepared here. That's what makes it great for group gatherings, since you can't meet everyone's needs with just one dish. Out of a big group there's always someone who doesn't eat meat, or someone who can't eat raw food. Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, true to a buffet, has a huge variety of food ready. I don't have any food I dislike, so I tried a bit of everything haha. Some people might worry that with so many types of food the quality would drop, but each line has a dedicated chef preparing delicious food, so there's no need to worry about that.

Two kinds of ice cream, the dessert corner

There's a wide variety of desserts too. Several kinds of fruit, several kinds of cake and dessert. In particular there are two types of ice cream — gelato and scoop (Dippin' Dots-style) ice cream — in many flavors, so it was fun picking and choosing. It was the corner the kids liked best!

There's also draft beer, and it's unlimited. Good news for beer lovers.

A comfortable meal

I started with salad and soup. Everything was seasoned just right and served at the perfect temperature. That soup in particular was really delicious. It tasted just like the soup I had at a hotel buffet!!

I also brought back a variety of sushi. Light, savory, fresh sushi that melted in my mouth.

I got some hot food too. The bajirak suljjim (clams steamed in rice wine) I enjoyed so much haha. Last time I visited I piled up shell shells like a mountain, and it was still just as delicious!!!

This time too I ate way more than that on my own. Staff came by regularly to clear the table, so I could eat comfortably in a clean space. I was enjoying it so much I couldn't photograph every plate I brought back. I think I went back and forth about ten times haha.

Finished off with dessert~ The fruit was really sweet and delicious. For coffee I made myself a latte by adding espresso to milk haha. The coffee was nutty and just to my taste. A great finish^,^

If you're bringing kids

Since it's a buffet, there was plenty for the kids to eat too, and they tried a bit of everything. Of course, the scoop ice cream they had last was their favorite. For this weekend's meal out, visit Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch to satisfy everyone's needs! Highly recommended.
